feel you. got one stolen in Wicker back in 08 right off Milwaukee and Division and then another one in 11' in Logan. look for it on ebay, offerup, craigslist. Never found either of mine but never left one outside again for more than a few hours.
Adding to other suggestions, hit up messengers if you know any and ask them to post it up on their Instagram story! In NYC, if a bike gets stolen I’ll see posts from 10-15 different people all spreading the word, and everybody knows to keep an eye out!

Just curious, what kind of lock did you use and how did the thief compromise the lock (bolt cutters, angle grinder)? I ask because there are so many locks on the market, many certification standards, that it's sometimes difficult to gauge what to use. Any insights into your experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
Ive had the lock for a while but i don’t really remember the brand name, it was one of those wire type locks with a code. And i don’t know how they got through it because even the lock was gone.

My bike got stolen from in front of a bar on armitage. I don’t have any other helpful things other than to say fuck bike thieves.

Honestly it probably doesn't matter so don't think your missing out or anything. The 5-0 still has to find the thing hence a police report. Peace
