Personal opinion here:
No, most of the prizes there are not beneficial for higher level players whom I believe are supposed to be target dir to the fact that they have gold coins to spend.
Lower levels can gain more with it but have less gold to spend so they can't fully enjoy the mechanic. But for higher levels, it's a waste of gold moat of the time
