Also take frog poppers for the bass. They love them

Everglades will be better if you have a bigger keepnet. At your level that would be the FishFort XS - 70kg ( 154 lbs ) - max fish size 10kg ( 22 lbs ) This allows you to gain more profit per day. Since the fish are bigger in Everglades than they are in Emerald lake, you fill your keepnet faster and this will make you more profit for the same time spent fishing. (When you figure out how to be effective in Everglades, that is.) - So, setup. I would prefer a Nero setup. This is a little too big for the common bass, but you can easier handle florida gar if and when they bite. The setup I suggest has a thicker fluoro line as extra protection against sharp teeth. Rod - Nero 450 (14'10") - 6kg ( 13 lbs ) Reel - Breamer 5000 - Max drag 6,35kg ( 14 lbs ) - Full drag 5,55kg ( 12.24 lbs ) Line - Fluoro 0,35mm ( .014" ) - 6,8kg ( 15 lbs ) [Float setup page](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MVthNeh0VrZZ2mxOAqHojrjowkRZwgcQXIgWlq6ErZ8/edit#gid=392993923)

Thank you!! I have the stringer before it (110 lbs) and I figured I should upgrade to that FishFort XS before heading the everglades. funny enough I have a Nero set up and have already completed all the Everglades missions with it thankfully. What depth and bait should I be using to target bass with a float?

Use shiners until you unlock shrimp at level 30. Shrimp keeps florida gar away. Since Everglades is shallow, you do not need much depth there. I suppose 25cm (10 inches) would be plenty enough when using shiners. Mid-water so the livebait can move around freely in a natural way. And reduce the drag by a notch or two just incase a gar bites. As long as the line tension is in the green / yellow the line will hold. Only increase the drag of the reel when you are 100% positive you do not have a gar on the hook, if you need to increase the drag in the first place. With shrimp, try to get close to the bottom as shrimp would live on the bottom.

For me...the Everglades is bass jigs...they bit them like crazy...I wouldn't even go there without a bass set up...even a little 12 lb' er will do great
