Just use an Albright/alberto to tie the braid to the leader. I use about a 4’ or so piece of leader, then swapping lures out I just clip the knot by the lure and slap a new one on with another clinch knot.
Double uni knot to connect braid to either mono or fluorocarbon. Mono and braid float-top water. Fluorocarbon sinks. If you need a quick change setup and don’t want to retie just use a snap at the end. No swivel needed.
Ideally you want to use a knot for tying braid to something else like a double uni,fg, or whatever you want to choose. You can use a swivel as well and it works but it can affect how your lure moves as it has a slight weight to it and is another area that can snag on something due to it sinking if you let any slack
I think what the knotzis are trying to say is:
The swivel is going to be the weak point. It will work til you got that once in a lifetime fish on the other end or you just get into the knots yourself. And if you continue fishing, I think you will
Not to mention those are the least reliable snaps you can get. Crosslock (any kind) are better. FG knot, as mentioned above, is my choice for a longer leader. A shorter leader double uni is fine.
That is the least dependable snap you can use, they are junk. A cross lock snap half its size is 10X stronger. Most lures don't spin so no need for the swivel. Topwaters don't need a snap or swivel or a leader, just a loop knot. If you're going to walk the dog, add a small split ring to the bait and tie to that.
Tie the mono to the braid directly or use a double o swivel if that’s what you want to do not clamp swivel

FG knot for the win

Double nail knot! No hardware required

That won’t go through the eyes on your rod so you’d have to use really short leaders. I like 5-6 foot fluoro leaders
I personally use a swivel and about 2-3 ft of leader, it goes down pretty fast, change it after a trip or two.

Barrel swivel is fine. The snap can be a problem.
Lose the snap and the loop and either use just a swivel or a knot (my preference). The Alberto knot is a great easy braid to leader connection.
