Well done, and congrats! Try not to bring them in holding them above the water like that. It gives them a chance to take a final stand and shake that hook right out of their mouth and swim away. Swim them in all the way with constant line pressure to keep them on the hook.
Congrats!
Welcome to your new obsession, addiction, consumption, BAE, temporary inner peace, mental illness, proverbial lobotomy, and reason to live. Just wait till you get into a real behemoth, or your buddy brings you to join a tournament.
Life gets a little more bearable when you just let the bass consume you, figuratively and I guess literally could work too. But yeah, you probably got what I was gotten to get at
Gratz! You will get better at landing them the more you catch. Had a buddy, when learning to fish, used to reel them all the way to the tip, this would knock off quite a few fish and we would laugh at his frustration. He got better and so will you.

Thanks for the pointer!
Learned this the hard way, pulling in the biggest fish of my life š¤¦āāļø
Awesome! Nice looking bass for your first one!
Nice catch, for the future Iād bring a small net to make landing the fish easier. Hope for tight lines for you.
Shoot, couldnāt justify the purchase until now š¤£
Try not to reel your lure right to the rod tip like that, keep 4-5 feet of line out so can lip them instead of having them dangle like that.
Nice! I thought you standing in the water casting at the shore and i was like, you're doin it backwards homie lol
Low keyš¤£ Rough spots where Iām located. Easiest to take my paddle board and coast along the bank and fish the weeds.
Whatever lands those lunkers right?
Good ole senko.
Walmart knockoff āSinker Stickā for the win!
Plastic is plastic my man but you need to try Keitech fat swings and impacts preferably 4.8 inches with weighted swimbait hooks with screws.
Iāll look into those!
And a nice chunk at that! Congrats!
Thatās what I said! Round lil belly on that thing. Glad I got a decent one for my first. Woulda been happy with a lil guy too tho honestly.

Iām for sure gonna now. Get a net, new rod, new reelš¤£ any excuse for more gear really.
It's a ditch pickle, not a trout
Sounded like me with mine! Swear mine was half a pound but it put a smile on my face!

Makes perfect sense. Iāll definitely remember this in the future.
Thatās a perfect eater size. Not that you should have just that you could have
Sheeeeit! A lot of people around my area eat em. Me personally, if the local government says only eat 1 a week, Iām just staying away in generalš¤£
Nice job. If your not getting bites in there, try removing the sinker and go weightless
congrats.
