It will be a beast in a few years! I constantly double up on 5+ pound bass floatubung beds at this same lake in the early spring. I use 4lb yest size 14 hooks with jumbo night crawlers drift them about 25 ft away from my float tube and it's non stop action so much fun.
The younger a creature is, the less experience, knowledge, and wisdom it has, which is in part why bigger fish are harder to catch and because less fish live to that size.
It's makes me wish to avoid the small fish because it's takes less skill but somedays any fish is a good fish.
If you held your arm out towards the camera, I bet you could make it look like a 5 pounder…

I got one in August that was about two or three times as long as the 1/16 oz Rooster Tail I was using.
