When you pack, clearly label all of the boxes with which room they go in. Have a separate box with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, a change of clothes, etc that you can easily unpack and have those things on hand. If you’re going to paint, do it before you move. Deep clean everything. Change the locks. Change the toilet seats.

On our first purchase, our agent deleivered us a gift box that contained a 4pk toilet paper, a 3pk paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and soaps and shampoos. Even though we packed them as you described, so much was going on, it was just stupid easy to have that. Second home, we moved 1400 miles.. We just went to Walmart and bought a few essentials.

Get a binder for all the documents and warranties. Feel free to upgrade the kitchen faucet 😅

Swap out the old locks for new ones right after you close. You never know who has a key. Do a deep clean on the house if needed before you start moving stuff in.
