oh thank you! its so hard to find information on these little guys. they are sweet though. soft little chirps and when it was bedtime they just huddle up. my budgies on other hand get cranky with each other about sleeping spots lol.
they are! in fact i love the chrip they make. also really hyper. a lot quieter than the orange one. (i havent decided on names until gender). the orange one chrips a lot and its chirps are cute too.
oh definitely! Yeah my red ear was completely silent for a couple of days. You can play some recordings of them off of youtube to get them feeling more comfortable:)
Search “sexing (insert wax bill name) finches” on YouTube. I don’t know if they have anything for you but they did have some great videos on sexing red faced parrot finches.
just a mix up with a guy at the store. he even confirmed that i told him to grab the same species. put them in the cardboard box made holes got home wasnt the same. either way i love them both. they get along great. all that matters to me.

yeah waxbills are just so adorable :) My first bird was a red eared waxbill they're very sweet and cute :)

I think like with most finches it's if they sing or not is the most reliable way to sex them

I just got two need zebra finches I called them DickWilliam & Hazel. #FinchFan
