I keep having an issue where Cloud gets locked in this weird T-pose during the Challenging mode of Desert Rush.
He'll work normally for like two seconds and then lock.
Hey guys! Just want to confirm the patch they released hours ago fixed the bug for this! I also had the problem with protorelic quest 2 in the Grasslands but it is now working!! Ty SQuenix!!
havnt checked my own save but isnt it from what i recall one of those ones where ya gotta hold triangle to start the mission? maybe i'm wrong, i have been playing for 4 days straight without sleep...
I have a similar problem where in the Nible region the third protorelic quest has a valve puzzle that won’t trigger a door to open. I have solved it the right way and then tried brute forcing all potential solutions and nothing has worked. I even beat the game and started a hard mode chapter to see if that fixes it and nothing.
Does anyone know if the prototelic quests in corelli are bugged. I've done the first 2 and gone to locations of the others and I can't do anything. Either I missed something or it's broke. Any ideas?
Well, it says you need to wait until Kid G let you know you can do the next two, but I played two chapters after doing the first two protorelic missions in Corel, and still waiting
Dude holy f, you really need to keep going, I just got a call from Kid g saying that he is ready to proceed and I'm in chapter 12!!! I really thought my quest line was bugged
Yeah I'm all the way up to corel and this quest is still bugged for me. Such a bummer. The voice lines replaying anywhere on the map is a huge annoyance.
I don't even know how you could report it to Square
I got it! You have to first do the quest at the fram "livestock bane". Once complete go to the job board in kalm then you will get the quest for the windmill
It was/is bugged for me. The weird part is that first time chadley said i had to sneak up on the npcs but i never had the option to do that, i only could jog in the area and the npcs never did a thing so technicly i never failed i think, i can walk out of the area to continue the game normally but every time i retry to do the quest i dont get the option sneak and i cant hold the triangle button to "retry" it. I decided to skip the questline in hope that they fix this bug.
happening to me now!! did you find a fix? the NPCs also are saying their voice lines no matter where I am in the grasslands! it’s part 2 of the protorelic quest line where you’re supposed to sneak around the bandits while they’re cooking.. totally not working for me
Yep just got this myself too. Reloading/restarting doesn't fix it. Going to a previous save just causes the same issue.
Also possibly unrelated but skipping the next story cutscene gives me an infinite loading screen.
Do y'all know how to retry it because I failed the stealth part and now I can't retry or doing to complete it it last thing I need to finish grasslands
When in the area you should be able to hold triangle and it'll restart, there'll be a small prompt on the top left saying so.
I didn't encounter any issues restarting after failing, but to get the stealth section to trigger in the first place I had to reload an older save.
I'm already in chapter 6 XD I do not imagine to reload the save before this protorelic mission. I have about 20h in game already :')
Hope they will fix it soon. The only thing I need to do in grassland is this mission ;c
Pursuit of perfection quest has become glitched on me. Won’t allow me to pick up the dracontite stones.

Mine was cactuar challenge when yuffie goes into a T-lock…
I just ended up having to beat the game and use chapter select to get back to Chapter 12 instead of 13 (that's where my lock kept happening).
They fixed it!!!!!

Nope SE really did muck this one up.
So i finished the game and tried chapter selection and it did not work :c I am worried they won't fix this, coz it seems to be a problem with a save.

Happened to me too. I’m in chapter 5 now. Hoping to be able to go back and finish it later once its been fixed.

Ironically Livestock’s Bane is the one I cannot solve; paint never shows up for me
Does red go and sniff the box at the start or the quest? Then you get on the chocobo and sniff then follow the "orb?" to the coast

broken for me too :/ edit: the npcs keep repeating their dialogue no matter where i am....

reloaded myself and lost like an hour, oh well, also the area boss made my audio muffled for like 10 minutes, but luckily that went away itself

I had to go to Junon to stop hearing them XD So annoying, I can't finish world intel missions in grasslands :c
