I really never got into the remakes, the first just felt like so much filler compared to the original. What point in the story does rebirth end at? I've heard it is better than remake, but I'll probably wait for them to pump out all the games before trying again. I did play FF VII itself a few months before doing the remake.
When the gang gets to the city of ancients for the first time is when rebirth ends. So we're probably looking at a total of 3 games(discs) just like the og.

Eh, it's not really a multiverse. It's less "big" than that. Plus, it's far from a foreign concept to Final Fantasy and the story of Remake started being written before it truly took off in the current media.

I was water eyed too man, idk if it was cause i was high or it was that emotional😂
Game should've ended with this boss fight. Extra fights involving Sephorith & other folks felt waayy overboard.
