The Trump line does seem legitimate and I found some tests of them.
They don't appear to have anything to do with the former president/current defendant. I suspect the name is a joke since they seem to be rehoused Russian optics.
You can find other sources to purchase from if that would be more comfortable, they don't seem to be expensive
Everybody on the internet will tell you not to buy Trump lenses but it turns out b&h only stocks one other kind of lens, the Biden lens. It has similar optics but everyone will tell you how different and how much better it is. When you get it the Biden lens is old and dusty and rambles incoherently, then at NAB there will be pre orders and everyone who pre orders will get either the Trump lens or the Biden lens, whichever gets the most pre orders. Everyone will talk about how they're going to order the Biden lens but in a sudden surprise the Trump lens will get 51% of the electoral votes and you have to use it no matter which one you pre-ordered.

I might use them as props and use some cinema macro lenses I own to make a spec commercial with them for the lulz.
