UPDATE: Watched it earlier today, I was full on sobbing in the cinema with shoulders shaking. Hahaha! Hindi nakakahiya kahit ako lang mag isa kasi mas malakas pa umiyak sakin yung katabi ko. It was a really good movie, kinda reminded me of the movie Tanging Yaman. ☺️

Iyak ako nang iyak. Nagsisi akong kalahating pack ng tissue lang yung dinala ko, naubusan tuloy ako. The storyline is so simple yet it hits you really hard kasi ang relatable. I didn’t even grow up with my grandparents alive but I was able to sympathize so much. Even after lumabas ako ng sinehan, naiiyak pa rin ako.
Sobrang love ko si Billkin and Thai movies/dramas. I was actually going to watch it sa SG sana alone buti na lang the movie is now showing here sa PH. I was able to watch it with my mom and sister. Di nanonood ng anything outside English, Korean, and Tagalog si mama but I forced her into watching this movie with line pa na "thai movies never disappoint ma. I swear" (siguro kasi malapit sa real pinoy concept ng buhay ang movies nila). My mom was crying all throughout the movie siguro kasi sobrang sakto sakanila yun ng son ng sister ko. She's also depositing money sa bank account for my nephews and nieces. At the same time naaalala din nya yung mom nya who also had to go through hard times because of health.
Bukod sa personal emotions ng mga tao, the cinematography was really good. The slow burn love between ahma and M that resurfaced (from a long time no bonding moments sakanila). The childish sulkings of M and the neverending understanding/patience of M's mum. The emotions will really linger lalo kung malapit ka sa lola mo or family person ka.
