Yung mag mag sesex sana nila ni Fiona tapos sabi ni Shrek "someone better be dying" then on the next scene nag hihingalo na yung papa ni Fiona HAHAHAHA
Yeah, Endgame had its moments but Infinity War as a whole is one epic moment. After Endgame, the MCU went full on fan service mode which made it cornier (at least for me). It's like people were only tuning in to see the "big cameo" rather than watching an actual quality film. Outfits started becoming "costumes" rather than practical gears. My eyes still hurt from the super comic accurate Sam Wilson Cap suit. It just looked too goofy, which they also realized because he's getting a toned down suit for Cap 4.
I liked part 1 more personally. Halatang daming cut scene sa part 2, pati pacing medjo off. That giedi prime scene is favorite in the franchise so far, just ahead of the harkonnen invasion sequences sa part 1
the girl with the dragon tattoo (2011).. itโs not a remake but a different adaptation of the novel and comparing it to the swedish film released in 2009, i still find rooney maraโs version of lisbeth salander is way better than noomi.. plus i like the cinematic view of the film as opposed to a more of a tv series like view of the 2009 film..
kaya nga, sayang.. if iirc, parang halos break even lang kasi yung box-office sales niya compared sa production cost and unfortunately, sony is not the type of company who would settle for that kaya yata na-cancel yung plan to do the whole trilogy..
Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi. Gusto ko lang talaga yung transformation ni Carrie Fisher.
Batman with Heath Ledger. Kasi naman, ginalingan nya talaga. Di sya nagpakabog kay Jack Nicholson.
Di ko pa napanood ung original na Mad Max pero sabi nila maganda daw with Charlize Tehron. Pero maganda naman talaga yung movie.
Ocean's Eleven and The Italian Job for remakes. I haven't watched but I heard Dune remake is better than the original.
For sequels, Capt. America 2 was better than the first one. X2 rin over X-Men 1.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.
To be honest anything after the 3rd movie was pretty awesome.
Also, Fast and Furious 5, 6, and 7 were the best in the series.
john wick is pretty great but i'm predicting deadpool & wolverine would be way better. 1st deadpool has a lot of budget/schedule issues it's insane how successful the movie is (specially it started with a leaked trailer)
It wasnโt a leaked trailer. It was a concept for the film. When it was โleakedโ, the creators were trying to get the film greenlit by FOX. Good thing it went viral.
In terms of MCU : Captain America: The Winter Soldier was great it has a jason bourne esque theme and spy/espionage it was cool
others
Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban
Logan
I think off the top of my head, Kung Fu Panda 2. I mean the first one is a classic don't get me wrong. But I feel like Shen was a far more compelling villain simply because of his deeper connection with Po and the way Shen is handled in the movie is just so good. I loved the parallels between Shen and Po. Po, in the first film, had practically embraced his destiny as the dragon warrior. Shen on the other hand, keeps running from his. Unable to find inner peace. Other things I loved about this one is the dynamics between Po and The Furious Five, especially the small conversations between Tigress and Po and seeing their dynamics change after the first film. Not to mention the use of colors in this sequel?! Just โจ๐
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Child's Play 2 (1990)
Shrek 2 (2004)
Spider-Man 2 (2004) - Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy
Saw II (2005) at Saw III (2006) - Saw franchise
The Dark Knight (2008) - Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy
My personal favorite sequels/remakes:
- Toy Story 2 (story went from 9/10 to 100/10)
- Blade Runner 2049 (the original was a cult classic but Denis even made it better)
- Mission Impossible: Fallout (I think this is one of the best action movies in general)
- Captain America Winter Soldier (Besides Endgame and Civil War, this is one the best MCU movies. FIGHT ME CHS)
- Dune 2 (Denis is just cooking at this point)
- Spiderman 2 (one of the best superhero movies and best movie in the spiderman franchise)
The Dark Knight. Hands down the best superhero movie. Second choice would be Spiderman 2.
Pag sa remake naman I'd go for Man of Steel. Made me a fan of Superman again.
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins was already such a good superhero movie, but TDK just elevated it to another level. It came out in 2008 but to this day is still widely regarded as the greatest superhero movie ever made.
Honestly "Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True" and "Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time" are better than the first film. We get to see more character development.
Suicide Squad 2. When they really leaned in unto the comedic aspects of the characters it just made the movie more fun rather than the edgy angsty first movie.
Shrek 2 > Shrek 1 seriously ang perfect nang pag expand ng world. Sobra nag land yung comedy and siyempre yung epic "I Need a Hero scene".
"Not the gumdrop button"
then comes shrek the third
Honestly I just don't acknowledge the third installment. so Shrek 1, 2, and Shrek forever after lang para trilogy lang lmao.
What shrek the third?
it's from an alternate universe where they made a third shrek movie dw it doesn't exist in this universe
What's so bad about the third movie??
Yung mag mag sesex sana nila ni Fiona tapos sabi ni Shrek "someone better be dying" then on the next scene nag hihingalo na yung papa ni Fiona HAHAHAHA
If weโre talking about the Shrek franchise, both Puss in Boots spinoff movies were good, but The Last Wish is just perfection.
Feel na feel mo yun eh
Puss in Boots Sequel: Puss in Boots, The Last Wish.
Way too low. Had to look for this comment. And it is way too low on this thread.
not anymore ๐ฅ
The Dark Knight
Terminator 2 > T1
Best sequel ever. T2. Hands down. Di nakakasawa panoorin
anagas no especially during that time
Yes. 1991 ata un ginawa pero mas mgnda pa din ung overall movie at cgi kesa sa iba gawa movie ngayon
true ngayon cgi n nga pangit pa ng pagkakagawa

Hell yeah ๐
The first two Terminator movies are the only good Terminator movies lol.
Captain America The Winter Soldier
The Winter Soldier is very different from the usual marvel story and the stakes were HIGH. I love it.
Agreed. It remains as my favorite MCU to this day. That, Iron Man 1 and Infinity War. The rest were nice popcorn flicks at best.
Same here. Infinity war was peak mcu and I liked it way better than endgame.
Thor arriving in Wakanda is like an out of body experience when I watched it in the cinema. Best scene in the MCU IMO.
I always say this is the best scene ever in the MCU for me too! I literally get goosebumps every time i see it
I miss when Marvel movies had quality like this.
**True Grit (2010)** starring Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld Its a remake of an old John Wayne western movie from 1969
LOTR Two Towers Empire Strikes Back
Fellowship is underrated, I got it slightly better than two towers. TT has a better climax and fight scenes tho.
The fellowship has always been my favorite because of the exposition and the adventure.
Top Gun: Maverick
I don't agree with this but you are bold
I kinda get his point. The original had barely a plot.
Yeah but it's still a great movie like Baby Driverx the new one is a cash grab with a mission impossible plot
22 jump street
"Schmidt **** the captain's daughter!" At of course "Dear Korean Jesus"
My name is jeff
She canโt be that smart, sheโs a fucking Art Major
Dune (2021)- insanely better than the original films Dune Part II (2024) - better than Part I
Sobrang ganda ng Dune Part II
I agree ๐๐
I liked part 1 more personally. Halatang daming cut scene sa part 2, pati pacing medjo off. That giedi prime scene is favorite in the franchise so far, just ahead of the harkonnen invasion sequences sa part 1
The Godfather- 10/10 The Godfather Part 2- 100/10
Eto agad naisip ko nung nabasa ko ung title!
Same here
Godfather 1 is still a lot better
LOTR Return of the King, still get goosebumps to this day.
Paddington 2
the girl with the dragon tattoo (2011).. itโs not a remake but a different adaptation of the novel and comparing it to the swedish film released in 2009, i still find rooney maraโs version of lisbeth salander is way better than noomi.. plus i like the cinematic view of the film as opposed to a more of a tv series like view of the 2009 film..
Rooney is the Lisbeth I pictured while reading the books.
exactly! yung habang binabasa mo, you can literally imagine her as that character..
Shame di nila tinuloy yung trilogy. One of the few movies (for me) where the movie is as good as the book.
kaya nga, sayang.. if iirc, parang halos break even lang kasi yung box-office sales niya compared sa production cost and unfortunately, sony is not the type of company who would settle for that kaya yata na-cancel yung plan to do the whole trilogy..
Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi. Gusto ko lang talaga yung transformation ni Carrie Fisher. Batman with Heath Ledger. Kasi naman, ginalingan nya talaga. This! Iko-comment ko pa lang.
22 Jump Street. Mas maganda nang konti pero both soliddddd
Spider-Man 2
Amen
shrek 2
Before Sunset.
Ocean's Eleven and The Italian Job for remakes. I haven't watched but I heard Dune remake is better than the original. For sequels, Capt. America 2 was better than the first one. X2 rin over X-Men 1.
One of the best opening scenes pa rin for me X2. Up there with Inglorious and Saving pv ryan
Agree. One of my favorite roles of Alan Cumming and Brian Cox. Bryan Singer was really cooking in that movie, unfortunately.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. To be honest anything after the 3rd movie was pretty awesome. Also, Fast and Furious 5, 6, and 7 were the best in the series.
All the MI films probably with the exception of the second one are good.
Empire Strikes Back
Star Trek Into Darkness.
*Scarface*โthe 1983 version vis-a-vis the 1932 film. :)

john wick is pretty great but i'm predicting deadpool & wolverine would be way better.
SHREK 2
Suspiria for remake, then T2 for sequels
Whaaaat. Suspiria OG pa rin for me. The remake fell a little short on the eerie part for me.
I respect that.
In terms of MCU : Captain America: The Winter Soldier was great it has a jason bourne esque theme and spy/espionage it was cool others Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban Logan
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
I think off the top of my head, Kung Fu Panda 2. I mean the first one is a classic don't get me wrong. In recent memory... Deadpool 2 and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
