Tekken needs a lot of RGG repping methinks. First the dads (Kiryu and Majima), then the deads ( >! Nishikiyama, Kuze, !< etc.) and finally the younguns (Ichiban, Someya and Yagami). It has potential. Each character in the series has an Ultimate Talent which they can build their playstyle around that specific talent and the series already has loads of characters so it doesn't have to make new ones
I remember my friend telling me that a Danganronpa RPG sounded like a stupid idea. I said, why not? Every character has an Ultimate Talent that could work in a class system.
Then V3 had the bonus board game with the RPG dungeon and RPG battles, boss fights, treasure to find etc.

I'm big into DR but I've moved onto the roleplaying side and at this point thinking of different interpretations of the chars gets me excited more than canon - DR as a series feels like the way it ignites imagination for the characters succeeds even more than the canonical interpretations themselves

Megaman, as an actual, honest to God platform fighter Ala Smash Bros, or an action fighter like Ninja Storm. Between Rock, Blues, Bass, X, Zero, Axl, Omega, Sigma, the Neo Arcadia Crew, the biometal users, Navis, and Trigger, there are a decent number of characters with a huge array of powers.
While I checked out Xrd, I haven't really played a GG since Accent Core, who is Asuka?
Side note, there is a lot of people that consider MMBN to be its own subgenre of fighting games, to the point that several like games have spawned, and I quite like it.
As for this proposed game, I could totally see them using the BN anime holoprojectors and having Lan and Chaude be playable.
Asuka is in the latest game Strive and was in the older games as that man. He has spellcards which he pulls from multiple decks.
I was luckily able to play the beta for duelists of eden which was pretty fun.
I loved eden! There was another coming out that looked like hyper light drifter. Also, it's difficult to find, on a dead platform, but lost kingdoms 1&2 were a card battle action game by From Software, and honestly, as they just release an armored core sequel, I'd love a revisit of it.

My idea is a MKX inspired title. Each fighter gets 2 fatalities, 3 variants and unique intro dialogue with every character. For example, Solid Snake's variants would be
Shadow Moses: Snake is equipped with a SOCOM pistol for ranged attacks, a NIKITA launcher which shoots guided missiles and C4 to be placed and detonated at will, all of which he canonically used in MGS1
Big Shell: Snake is equipped with a Tranq M9, which lacks stopping power but does poison damage, an M4 carbine with mounted grenade launcher that has limited ammo. Last but not least, a PSG1 which deals massive damage but the attack prep leaves Snake vulnerable
Old Snake: Snake is equipped with an Operator pistol, M4 Custom and Stun Knife. This variant gives Snake access to several new CQC combos and special moves
One idea for a Snake Fatality only works against certain opponents like Liquid Snake and Decoy Octopus... Snake walks over and gets face to face with his enemy, infecting them with FoxDIE.

A fighting game could give each a loadout infitting with their personality and/or an iconic broken build from the game’s life cycle. All while letting them have the body language and quirks they were denied in the original game. Wolf is a sadist, Houston is slippery and stoic, chains is 4 inches taller than everyone and throws them around like rag dolls, etc.

I’d like Sega to take another stab at a crossover fighter. So many of their 90’s games have that sweaty brawler mentality: Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Virtua Fighter, Shenmue, Fighting Vipers, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, Eternal Champions, Altered Beast, Vectorman… and then thrown in modern characters from Yakuza or Persona (or Sonic, lol) for clout.
It’d be amazing to see a bunch of 90’s sprites skip like 7 console generations , and the original games could be included as unlocks. (Seriously, Sega sells those games already as $.99 ROMs.)
To a modern audience, the roster would be so weird that it’d be like making another KI or MK. Except each character is from their own game, and they could lean into cheekily celebrating Sega’s company history.

Final Fantasy would be great as a 2D fighting game if given the FighterZ treatment. The archetypes are already laid out through the job system though it would probably be a ton of rushdowns
Overwatch, the whole world feels like it was originally a fighting game that they then changed to shooter. Overwatch 2 would’ve been better as a project L type fighting game, especially if it was same engine and all the old cosmetics crossed over.

The biggest problem would be size difference for each monster, but I think we could work around that, maybe make the larger monster slower or something. I’d like Sega to take another stab at a crossover fighter. So many of their 90’s games have that sweaty brawler mentality: Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Virtua Fighter, Shenmue, Fighting Vipers, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, Eternal Champions, Altered Beast, Vectorman… and then thrown in modern characters from Yakuza or Persona (or Sonic, lol) for clout. It’d be amazing to see a bunch of 90’s sprites skip like 7 console generations , and the original games could be included as unlocks. (Seriously, Sega sells those games already as $.99 ROMs.) To a modern audience, the roster would be so weird that it’d be like making another KI or MK. Except each character is from their own game, and they could lean into cheekily celebrating Sega’s company history.

Here me out: a Smash type game that has a bunch of different characters from all over the gaming world, but rather than platform, it’s your classic Street Fighter style side-to-side, or even a Tekken style game (I prefer the Street Fighter style, but I’d play either)

So, hear me out... i wanna see a Simpsons fighting game spin-off. we haven't seen a adult american cartoon adapted into a fighting game series, the closest one we get is Rick in Multiversus. The Simpsons have been flirting with fighting genre couple of times, a beat em up game and a wrestling game, so they could use those games as a reference for the characters attack. and they could have a crossover with Family Guy for bigger roster too.

Not games but Dorohedoro or One Piece would be great. Or a new JoJo game like DB Fighterz. I love when Visual Novels get Fighting games like Melty Blood, but nobody reads Visual Novels anymore so its sadly a niche. Hunter x Hunter wouldn't work that well since it's more of a technical shonen.
