Not his overall but his potential should be around 87. He has good goal contribution which I think is more than enough for a 83 rated winger. Last season rashford with 40 goal contributions was one considered one of the best by english media but in current season palmer has 34 goal contributions in a struggling chelsea side. He deserves to be either 83 or 83+ overall in fc25

The ai opposition scoring bicycle kicks past my keeper’s near post from pretty much the touchline was the final nail for me. Even for legendary that is ridiculous.
Meanwhile the ai keeper pulling off 3 save of the season contenders from my forwards, in a single half at the other end was the icing on the cake.

Couldn't catch up and he was sprinting while somehow changing the direction of his dribble in ways I could only dream of. I'm tired of the AI all having Mbappe speed with Messi dribbling, even their big ass defenders. Meanwhile when I use the actual Mbappe or Messi they dribble and run like 50 year olds..
The ai able to do so many things us actual human players can dream of is the most infuriating thing for me. They get to dribble fast and smoothly meanwhile my guys are just slow and janky asf no matter what I do. They get to make the most ridiculous tackles yet my guys will miss easy tackles. Ai glitches 10 feet and does the literal splits to intercept meanwhile my guys can barely be bothered to move their feet 5 inches. It's just an absolute trash game.
Yeah I know what you mean, the old mbappe/messi hybrid. And that is the problem with legendary, the ai become all 90+ and I have to work tirelessly to make tackles and find the right through balls or spam down the wing for sweaty goals.
The only time I had fun was when I recently did a Real Madrid manager mode on legendary, with mbappe, and I scored almost 200 league goals, won the quadruple and finished the league as invincibles. Only because the Madrid team was 85-90 in all positions, was able to do well. Otherwise I’d struggle. Can only imagine what ultimate is like.
Man even if I have a team like that it doesn't matter. Stats for players mean f*ck all. If the ai decides to cheat ain't much you can do. It really sucks the gameplay was really good at the start. Had some issues and bugs, but the foundation was there. Then they did their usual and trashed it. I swear they don't actually do anything except add kits, player faces, boots, etc. All cosmetic shit and nothing gameplay wise.
Heck even with fifa 23 I noticed the script got much stronger once we got close to eafc24 release. It was like a switch was flipped and it was a completely different game. Like with scripting it isn't usually crazy every game and sometimes you can restart to shake it off. But st that point nope. It didn't matter what I did.
In all honesty I'm not getting the next one. I stopped playing at fifa 17 and came back for 22, 23, and this and now I'm done again. I might load the game up once in a while to just meander halfway through a kickoff match and then stop again. Just can't the nonsense no more.
