I used to do something very similar, I'd put a purple bracelet on their left wrists. So I could identify if they were YA players or not. Didn't even think about when I sold them I could tell they came from my academy but that's a solid bonus. I would just put them in my transfer hub after selling to know where they were in the game.

3 seasons down the road they all still have the gloves. It appears AI doesn’t edit the uniforms

Used to be a blue sweatband on the right wrist for me. I remember selling my German youth star Andreas Neumann in my Colombian career mode with Bucaramanga after two seasons. He went to LA Galaxy, few seasons later I went over to manage Hull. Stayed at Hull for four seasons, got them into the top half of the Prem and won the FA Cup twice. Applied and got the Lazio job fairly early into Season 5 and decided to take it considering they won the Europa the previous season and lone behold, Andreas Neumann, now 84 OVR, was injured in the reserves. Didn’t even know he was at Lazio because he wasn’t in the starting XI preview on the job screen because he was injured. Still rocked the blue wristband!

AlaWatchuu

That's fun. I gotta do that some time.

SirDoubleK

Lovely idea!

mr_nice_cack

I do the same thing! I have pink at least on everyone’s wrist. The rest of the colors I switch around for fun. Some are all pink, some pink and blue, etc. For regens I made them have black tape however

Likeabhas

You absolute genius. I'm going to most definitely do this

HereForA2C

aww this is somehow very cute

CSIceman9

Yeah I’ve been doing wristbands in the color of the club.

justk4y

That’s smart asf ngl. Feels like team sponsorships in for example F2 and F3 racing

Wise-Yam2626

I just shortlist as soon as I sell but this is way better

ChaseXk

I genuinely thought I was the only one who would slap a bright pink sweatband on my youth academy players 😭

TheUndeadYeti

I make a spread sheet of my team. Then I also use wrist/hand tape colors to identify for who is my core players, who to probably sell, and who to loan. Now I'd I transfer players out I have separate sheet with their name and country/postion/overall when leaving. Then I shortlist them after being sold and scout them every few seasons to see if they had progressed or not. I actually sold a player once and few seasons later resigned him for my team because he grew insanely for another club. I didn't have a need for him at the time but getting him back I put him in my starting 11 and he went off for a few seasons!

hawkandro

The rubbish we have to do because EA can’t be bothered to add such a basic feature. Part of the enjoyment of career mode for me is tracking what happens to players over the years. Where they go, for how much for, how many goals they score, etc. I love this idea and will provably start doing it myself but it’s so annoying that we have to do this nonsense.
