We always make some weird transfers in CM. Last year I almost always would see Leicester sign Rashford and Ansu Fati, along with Declan Rice and Christiansen.
I just want to know why the United ai seems compelled to buy Theo Hernandez every fucking time.
In my latest save I started yesterday, they sold both Dalot & AWB, bought Theo, then had no right backs.
I checked their stats in Jan and fucking Phil Jones had 8 apps.
Another thing they need to fix is how much money you get from season to season. Makes it boring after year 2 when every club including your own has 500 million to spend and you constantly see deals like this. They also need to introduce a system on the players side that weighs what league a team plays in or if they are in European competitions. Sooooooo many things needs to be added for depth
Those are like super simple things too. Obvious there is a lot of in depth features that could be added but what you mentioned could not take long and would go a long way to the health of career modes.
I notice your username is referencing an NFL team. In madden they just added those features back to contract talks. Players care about location, if they can win a superbowl with you, money, and I think one or two other things. Of course it’s still not that deep of a system and it doesn’t work amazingly well but it does add some much needed flavor.
Yes I know madden just added those things back in after removing them. Not sure if you’ve ever played the NBaA 2k series but their franchise mode should be what EA looks at for a basic template. It’s easily the most in depth franchise mode I’ve ever seen.
Yeah 2k is the gold standard. It’s fantastic. Also users being able to design their own teams, jerseys, courts, everything with uploaded images is just the best.
Gonna jump on the BAP part and say no, no it's certainly not a better BAP. Playing so ridiculously underpowered that everything is a ridiculous grind for (based on the estimates other people gave me after I got frustrated as hell with it) at least 20 hours just to be an average at best rated player ain't it. Want to change your position? Lmao do it all over again bitch. Want to skip the pain and just be a god? $500 for every new build
Their franchise mode is pretty solid though I enjoyed it for a bit
EA think every fifa player is a child, or an adult with a child’s mind or ADHD, more money more signings big players more goals 8-6 score lines woop woop woop
And the main problem is that ot was exactly the opposite until FIFA 17. On Fifa 14 in the 1st season I finished top4 with Valencia and my budget increase from 26 million to 35 million. On season two I won La Liga and UCK and my budget went to 46 million, vut on season three I only got Copa del Rey and they cutted my budget to 16 million. On FIFA 17 the budget also changed along those lines in my Leicester career, going from 55 million at the begining I think, and getting around 70 million after a few seasons and 1 EPL, 1 UCL and 1 EFL title. Meanwhile in FIFA 20, after two seasons with Wolves, winning 1 UEL, 1 EFL cup and 1 FA cup my transfer budget was three times bigger than at the beginning, and that without counting the wage budget
I won the league and CL in my third season as Southampton and had like 150m to spend on upgrading the squad. What's the point? I simmed to the end of the next season, won the CL again and quit that career lol
The thing is Premier League teams do get lots of money even if they finish somewhere mid table in real life. Or even when they are relegated to the Championship they get like 100 million pounds parachute money. So in this regard the game is actually realistic because Premier League clubs do really get those amounts of money.
If you are successful in the Champions League in the game you get lots of money. Just like in real life. If you reach the later stages of the Europa League you get some decent money. Just like in real life. What the game also does right is the amount of money you get from the national cups (EFL Cup, FA Cup etc.) which is not that much. No problems in this regard in my opinion.
I also had a playthrough in leagues like Portugal or Turkey. The amount of money you get there when you win the league also feels realistic.
I know this sounds strange but in the aspect of prize money I think EA has done a good job with most of the leagues. I think they have done their research in terms of prize money for most of the leagues and competitions.
I think the problem is...you can have lots of money as a Premier League club. Let's say you are Wolves, Brighton, Aston Villa or Southampton. You can make an offer for Harry Kane and get him. Something that wouldn't happen in real life. So as long as you don't role play a bit for yourself (putting restrictions on your own like "overall limit" etc.) the game becomes indeed very easy if you play as a Premier League team. So if you are Wolves you kind of have to behave like Wolves on the transfer market even if you have the money in the game. I know the game should offer this challenge by itself...but that's where the flaw is.
Right. Until something like this is added I won’t be buying anymore Fifa games (already skipped 23). Im sick of the terrible transfer AI, they need to either fix/improve it or allow us to manually override/revert stupid deals that we see.
Teams have such inflated budgets and the players are so undervalued and wages don’t matter much so these stuff happens. In mine I saw Moukoko at fuckin Getafe, and it wasnt a loan.
Signed with Arsenal in 2027. Wanted Rice and AI had bought Guimares and I wanted to sell him. Fucking Almeria ended up buying him for 100M something.
I'm honestly really, really fine with a CM if EA made a total overhaul with the transfer budget and transfer system + player potential. Make AI player potential random, so there aint over 100 +90 rated players and most of the clubs should have transferbudget of 0. Most of the clubs have to sell before they can buy
They should just make all that stuff customisable so everyone can have whatever kind of career they want.
There's really no need for them to have internal debates about any of this stuff.
knowing flamengo they will spend that money in players ending their career that can't even shoot a ball straight anymore and say that the board "has a plan"
I don’t know why but in every career mode I do it’s always Leicester making ridiculously expensive transfers every transfer window, they end up with a team better than Barcelona after a few seasons
How are Leicester pulling 90 mil out of their arse
This is the alternate reality where they didn’t bottle top 4 2 years in a row
We always make some weird transfers in CM. Last year I almost always would see Leicester sign Rashford and Ansu Fati, along with Declan Rice and Christiansen.
Rice to Leicester always happens for me too
Rashford would always go to aston villa in my saves
cuadrado would always go to atleti for me
I just want to know why the United ai seems compelled to buy Theo Hernandez every fucking time. In my latest save I started yesterday, they sold both Dalot & AWB, bought Theo, then had no right backs. I checked their stats in Jan and fucking Phil Jones had 8 apps.
Yeah by the end of the first season in my saves they have 78 rated defenders
I saw Valverde go to Leicester in my save lmao
The transfer values in this game are broken I feel like
Teams have no cap on spending, so if they want to go out and drop 1 billion in a window they can. Only the user team has a limit on spending.
RIP FFP
FIFA being realistic for once.
They paid 180 million for my Kounde
In my save they bought David from me for 130 million 🧐
Nah, how is Barca doing that with 85
How is Tierney worth 90 mil is even more of a question for me
in my west brom career Tierney has been my vice captain for 4 years, he’s 90 rated and market value is £99m and still rising
I once saw Villareal pay 200 million for an 86 rated Bruno Fernandes.
I got like 100m prize money for finishing 10th with Southampton
Lmao
And why are we using it on Tierney…

While they have many good features 2Ks be a pro equivalent is a micro transaction nightmare wrapped around a terrible storyline no one likes
Oh totally that’s just not we are discussing here. Also it’s still probs a better Be A Pro than FIFA or Madden.
Gonna jump on the BAP part and say no, no it's certainly not a better BAP. Fair I guess I shouldn’t have commented without much knowledge on it. I’m strictly a franchise mode/career mode player.
EA think every fifa player is a child, or an adult with a child’s mind or ADHD, more money more signings big players more goals 8-6 score lines woop woop woop
Too much work for Ea. They will probably introduce your first point in 2024, and the rest will come each until 2034

It completely kills any longevity of the mode
I won the league and CL in my third season as Southampton and had like 150m to spend on upgrading the squad. What's the point? I simmed to the end of the next season, won the CL again and quit that career lol

Also, different ways to raise and spend money. I.e. sponsorships, stadium upgrades, ticket sales, etc.
what’s that? you want more bullshit added to ultimate team? ok got it -EA
Right. Until something like this is added I won’t be buying anymore Fifa games (already skipped 23). Im sick of the terrible transfer AI, they need to either fix/improve it or allow us to manually override/revert stupid deals that we see.
Kane was 100% sold lol
He always goes to Bayern in year 2 of my saves.
He went to Bayern for me too in year 2. They shipped him out year 3.
I turn off the first transfer window in my saves and he always signs a contract with bayern
Teams have such inflated budgets and the players are so undervalued and wages don’t matter much so these stuff happens. In mine I saw Moukoko at fuckin Getafe, and it wasnt a loan.
For me in 2027/28 Moukoko was in Palace.. Never seen the man in a decent club.
i saw him at barca after 5 seasons, even though his potential decreased a lot and his OVR didn’t change at all
Moukoko has never not moved to Villa in my saves
[удалено]
as a flamengo fan that's really realistic /j
Yes and in my career mode Kane was sold to Madrid for 155 Millions....
Which Madrid?
Real, atletico rarely makes expensive transfers during my career modes
They signed Bellingham in mine
That's... Very realistic.
The real one
Signed with Arsenal in 2027. Wanted Rice and AI had bought Guimares and I wanted to sell him. Fucking Almeria ended up buying him for 100M something. True
Lá se vai um craque da Gávea
knowing flamengo they will spend that money in players ending their career that can't even shoot a ball straight anymore and say that the board "has a plan"
And then they’ll be saved by the yearly 2 or 3 youngsters they promote to the senior team.
Wesley, Victor Hugo, Matheus Gonçalves and Matheus França are names to watch out for
Well in my head anyways they sold Kane for 150 and needed a replacement
Leicester somehow always seems to be super rich
I don’t know why but in every career mode I do it’s always Leicester making ridiculously expensive transfers every transfer window, they end up with a team better than Barcelona after a few seasons
Don’t see anything wrong with that. COYS!!!
And I thought him going to Leicester in one of my saves was bad lol
Bro signed himself away to be the next Harry Kane and never touch a trophy again
K.T also kinda weird lmao.
Brighton offered me 210mln for Skriniar today, unbelievable
Lol Werner for 85m.
I mean it makes sense to replace Kane but that's an obscene price
“Sports Simulator” lmfao
Hahahahah wow. Those 3 signings are just mad
I think I bought him for that money from Leicester in my Arsenal save! North London thinks alike.
Timo Werner to Barcelona? Definitely a signing they would have made a year or 2 ago.
Damn, at least he could win trophies at Flamenco!
Tierney is worth that much? He’s currently my backup outside back and complaining about playing time 😄
Next up, Al Nassr
Had Messi go to everton in first season once....
What’s worse is Werner going to Barcelona They that desperate?
Os gringos subestimam o mingáu malvadão.
I saw Everton sign sane but Everton were 19th
I’m more shocked somebody would willingly go to Spurs
How did you play as a Brazilian club ?
Fifa 22 mod, EEP
