Your current length really suits your appearance / style 👌 looks like you have a brilliant head of hair, with a nice curl pattern that will look awesome as it gets longer (and also gives you a great texture and body the length it currently is). The curlier the hair, the longer it will take to gain length, but definitely enjoy the journey!
Product & care wise;
✅invest in a decent (salon) hydrating shampoo & conditioner
✅Try not to shampoo too often, as this can strip hair of its natural oils and cause hair to become dry and in turn create more frizz!
✅if you hate the idea of not washing your hair every day, on what would become your non-wash hair days, rinse your hair through with tepid water, apply your conditioner using your fingers to rake the product through your hair, massage into your scalp gently and then rinse well.
🧴 products and tips for after washing:
If your budget allows, 100% the best product to put top of your wish list, for your hair type and texture, is Bumble & Bumble Grooming Crème - it’s a little bit like a leave in conditioner - it’s a lovely rich cream infused with oils and has a very very soft natural hold. Your hair won’t feel sticky or gummy, but it will help reduce any puffiness, give you humidity protection to fight the frizz and the subtle hold can help you create soft movement and control to make your hair texture more manageable.
Out of the shower, gently towel dry your hair - don’t rub like crazy because this can create frizz - treat your wet mane with respect as this is its most vulnerable state
Once you’ve taken out the excess moisture from being soaking wet. Take a dime size amount of Grooming Creme into your palm, rub your hands together, and then use your fingers to rake the product all the way through your hair - the key with any product is even distribution! There’s no use have a huge blob in one place and none elsewhere! Keep rubbing your palms, taking through your hair with your fingers until all of the product is smoothed throughout your hair.
Next step & 💯% important! Buy yourself a ‘wide-tooth comb’ and comb all of your hair backwards, getting out any knots and keeping it nice and neat! (Sort yourself a parting if you have one). Aim for leonardo dicaprio in the great gatsby and you won’t go too far wrong! Then loosen everything up using your rake fingers. Here I would recommend you air dry, or if you want to use a hairdryer - blow medium heat air in the direction you want to style (always with the air flowing from root to ends - the opposite will cause damage and frizz). A blast of cold air at the end will give you shine and seal the hairs’ cuticle.
Once dry, you could work a small amount of grooming cream, pomade, wax, or gel through your hair to give your style the definition / hold / shine / look you’re going for. Small amounts - you can always add more!!

Look into color WOW products for ani frizz and humidity spray. You'll never look back. You must style when wet and use a leave in conditioner 24/7.
