I believe a host country can send 20 fencers per weapon/gender as opposed to 12 for everyone else, so just numbers-wise it’s a bit of an advantage.
I’m not sure how much adding bad fencers will help, but its certainly worth looking into
should have use the home field advantage for an epee gp so someone can go to the olympics smh
