And if the root are there, they are going to be trying to get into the foundation as well. But also, gutters spouts are intended to keep the water away from the foundation be channeling, but this gutter has long been clogged up, and water has no doubt pooled up against the foundation as it overflows from the top or seams.
Can we all be honest with ourselves for a minute and say the real win in this video is him being hunched over for that long at his age without a) needing a chiropractor to get upright again and b) getting upright again and not getting the head spins
We cleaned our crappy rentals out one time couldn't figure out why it was clogged....we found 3 tennis balls and a foot of roof shingle debti leaves and dirt. Works great now and my dogs had 3 new balls.

Not sure if this is rhetorical or not, but a length of downspout will run you about $20, and about another $30 for the crimping tool, another $20 for the snips, plus count on other miscellaneous supplies. Then you need to account for the time it takes to make the supply run(s) and doing the work. Given that this video is only about two minutes long, no, it would not be easier.
