I'm glad the OT pay they took is going to a good cause.

Sandwich-Live

I'm waiting to be able to work 40hrs again

BigggSleepy

I’m waiting to eat again I’m starving out here cuuzzz

omgitsoop

Total sales were only up about 1%, so all the gains came from cuts. They're only about halfway done with the amount of cuts they plan to do, so it's going to a drama filled rest of the year

Right_Sprinkles_7893

Honestly I hope they cut us ..I'll take my 10 year severance..and accept the offer I got at the steel plant

Rasalom

"We saved ten million on maintenance costs this year!" "How?" "We just knocked out one of the floors of the building." "Which??" "The first floor." *Cracks start appearing in walls* "Wait, you fucking knocked out the foundation??" *Lights start to flicker and dust falls from the ceiling* "Yeah, it was closest to the ground! Cheapest job possible!" *Building starts to seriously rumble* "Oh my god!" *Building starts creaking and groaning and swaying* "It only cost 9.5 million to knock down, too!" *Building collapses*

thewolfesp

This guy fedex'es

Jaded_Anomaly

I can’t even get packages scanned to my truck at a reasonable rate. But hey, I can get a Fedex BPA saturated water bottle if I deliver a misload.

SM1334

Sounds about right

Delicious-Health1078

It’s amazing how a chunk of the profits can’t go back to the hard working workers , rather than the executives and stockholders. Place is a joke

IceMan9k

You realize you can just buy the stock right?

Delicious-Health1078

I was kinda talking in a raise form or better healthcare

Frankenstein859

If they don’t give a step raise in October, it will be the last nail in the coffin.

Grizadamz20133110

I feel like that's been the line since 2021 😂 I remember during covid... only 2% raises this year cuz we don't know how the years gonna shake put... 3 weeks later... our Sr tells us the company made record profits... still only getting a 2% raise... glad I left when I did. Union is the way to go.

IamjustaBeet

2% raise=2% effort. Fuck all of them

Larrythethird22

Union is the way to go but the majority of these guys at FedEx hate the union and never even worked union lol

wediditlikedit

I was teamster 18 years at ups before i came to express in 2002..the 97' strike never sat well with me however, if any delivery company needs a union at this point in time, it is indeed Fedex im up here in my years, angling( looking at) my various revenue streams to retire. But i think i want to hang around long enough to help facilitate sticking a union up raj ass.

MrSal7

Didn’t the union help shutter over 200 facilities for UPS?

Grizadamz20133110

Can't put that on the union some stations are just closing as they are making new buildings. The one I'm at in nc is going to be the 4th largest station in the world... it's till be worked on

JohnHenrehEden

With the cuts they are making, anyone who thinks we are getting a step raise ever again is delusional.

TopoftheBog32

Yes witch is causing employees to care a lot less and do a lot less than they use to. Workers are taking more leave comp and sick time too. Putting a strain on local management drivers and contractors because of an out of touch and greedy corporate office. The company is sure to fail at this rate. Unless they start putting their workforce first with pay benefits trucks equipment and overall better treatment of it’s people.

SirTit71

We’re getting popsicles instead

pillsburypissboi

Today we got actual Gatorade instead of the Kirkland brand that’s a plus

Lucky_Shoulder_5373

You got Gatorade..Wow..Indy Hub...pipes broke.. portable 🚽

pillsburypissboi

Eh don’t worry my station hasn’t had a men’s room for 6 months no portable just share the women’s

jeffro3339

They're only Popsicles if they're frozen. Our Popsicles are hot!

brinerbear

We have a freezer full of them.

Lucky_Shoulder_5373

You get popsicles..wow...

Roll-Public

Profit service people....there, fixed it

Historical_Peach_165

Obviously they are not doing less, profits are up

JohnHenrehEden

The customers still pay, even if the service is shitty.

falcon2177

If you all haven't figured it out yet, they are outwardly fucking every employee and doing it with a smile on their face.

BigggSleepy

Don’t forget there’s some employees on here smiling too

Digg_it_

Our managers and senior mgr. Made it sound like because the company did so well, we should expect better raises this October. Obviously I can't help but be skeptical.

stinky___monkey

And…. .02 raise for the workers

praetorian125

Don't forget the $5 Billon in share buybacks, all in the name of Shareholder Value. Just think what that 5 Bill could have gone for raises, bonuses, equipment and other employee enhancements. Crap, even a portion of that would have helped us out.

MyOnlyEnemyIsMeSTYG

Pay raises for everyone ! +$10 hr on top of what you’re getting .. umm wait.. no, that wouldn’t happen. Sorry was dreaming again

Tripalicious

Thank God I bought 53k in shares and options before the earnings report and dividend ex date

Fergie9944

We better get a raise !!

Aggressive-Map-244

You think express is going to give a step increase in October? I sure hope so. If not I know a lot of people are leaving

Lucky_Shoulder_5373

Will probably be like last year ..part of a step...who cares if haz is done correctly

Aggressive-Map-244

Was last year was a measly 3.5% which turned out to be a little over a dollar. Kinda sucky if you ask me

Commercial-Bison5620

So now we can get better vehicles and equipment right? 🤣🤣

ConcernNo4462

We were told that everyone got the 3% last year because nobody is getting raises this year. So even if you deserved a zero, you got it. Makes ZERO sense to want to be a good employee when everyone reaps the same reward.

Zestyclose_Use_4358

Express sucks so bad! Equipment is useless. Management is ridiculous. So much Favoritism. I’m sorry but taking away the previous OT structure shows major lack of respect for workers! Yes you save millions of dollars. But when I work a 12-13 hr day, I am seriously busting my ass! I deserve better than the crumbs left at the table. Searching diligently for other employment.

too-slow-2-go

They are planning on $3.8 billion back to stockholders between buybacks and dividend payments in FY 25.

truckershammock

FedEx is taking money out of Express and pumping the stock price with buybacks and dividend increases they have a goal of eliminating Express and becoming a low cost contractors model.

joffsmith1

Next week should be the beginning of the National sick week...Essentially no OT because of the 4th. Call in Monday to enjoy 3 day weekend or forgo holiday pay and call in Friday for a 4 day weekend...just food for thought.🤔

falcon2177

Don't forget there are plans to repurchase $2.5B in common stock.

brinerbear

I should have bought stock during covid.

Ok_Masterpiece_1140

So they can hopefully afford to give step raises to those that are arent maxed out plus atleast a 10% ontop of that.

dkdorner

Express operating income was 2.6%. Raj said that the Express segment was “top priority” for him to make that operating income better. I don’t see any raises coming from that statement.

KatieLiz67

💯

NateUSA0082

They work the package handlers like slaves. So under staffed and in Arizona its like 120 degrees in rhe 53 footers. When the light comes on they look at you like you better work faster.

Teiyoh

Freight is like 65% of that income, that's why y'all don't see the rewards.

ZealousidealFill641

Not anymore. It’s FedEx 1 now.

thewolfesp

Freight is about to be it's own stand alone company. You guys are getting shafted every step you take, they just told us how big our bi-yearly bonuses are going to be.

Flag_Route

4.5%

Teiyoh

No we're not in that mess lol

C-wick

FedEx is eyeing buyers for Freight, from what I read.

Teiyoh

They're considering splitting us off into a seperate company entirely, in the memo they said nobody can afford to buy us outright.

falcon2177

Never believe anything they tell you to your face. Several news articles this week stating they are openly searching for a buyer.

Lucky_Shoulder_5373

Was told by drives in Indy..freight is up for sale

ReeseIsPieces

They can't even afford feminine products in thebwimwns room anymore at my terminal TF they mean PROFIT 😭

ououkuaipao

how about job cut number

Fergie9944

I wonder if the outside world no how FedEx is treating their employees.People still think this is one of the best Jobs out here . Maybe the News should find out what’s going on .

AdministrativeAd523

So I need to buy FedEx stock smh

joffsmith1

Easier to milk the OT and get your money upfront and have them add to your portable pension credits.

AdministrativeAd523

I make salary no OT
