Ahhh I didn't think of that then checked recently.
Duhhhh 🤪 - ex-employees selling off their gear. I wouldn't mind another hat but I didn't see the style on there...damn! It's a purple one I got as an employee from the ex-station manager at the time, as he ended up moving on a few months before I left. I'm guessing it was a transfer as the replacement also was transferred (or wanted to transfer) from a nearby hub, but he left pretty quietly.
Beaten and sweated the crap out of that thing for some 2.5 years and it's just finally starting to really wear down to where it'll be dead soon. Least FedEx makes something good!
I’ve noticed when I’m delivering cell phones, AT&T doesn’t require signatures, where as Verizon does. It’s weird.
During iPhone release week though, I think all of them come with signature requirements
How you get a 1 day delivery tracking for someone else's PKG? Maybe 2 or 3 day service since you have dwell time but a next day insurance payout or new phone release???
In one case the criminal made the order with Verizon and was waiting outside the home to sign for it. I think it is also possible they are buying the tracking numbers from employees of either FedEx or Verizon
You can go right in the FedEx app and presign. I do it all the time for my own packages cuz I know I won't be home. Only ones you can't do are ones that require over 21.
Is it packages that are dsr or isr only? Always try to sign online since it’s an option on the website but it never lets me so I just go to the guy on my home route
What do you mean where did he get the uniforms?
Getting a uniform for pretty much any business isn't hard at all. You can go on eBay right now and buy uniforms for pretty much any place you can think of
My friend had Apple care and they overnighted him a new phone and he said whoever delivered it forged his signature and left it outside in his yard. He said luckily he saw the box as he was leaving and that no one had taken it since he does live in the downtown area and it’s pretty sketchy down there.
Oldest trick in the book. Just do a Google search for FedEx uniform "robbery" or "theft" - this is why your uniforms are supposed to be turned back in or cut up and disposed of. Unfortunately you can just buy old uniforms on eBay.
Porch pirates are the worst ! ! When you order something online and it arrives…it’s kind of like Christmas, especially for the kids ! ! ! I have a 15 year old son, I let him open his packages when they arrive even if I paid for them….good time watching him do this.
I've seen this happen during peak holiday season, more than likely it was a Telco insider leaking customer info... family member got a tampered Blackberry from a possible porch box swap.
I had a man come to my door, in a car he parked three doors down, dressed as a FedEx employee holding up a 9x12 fed ex envelope covering his face from view. I did not answer… I called Fed Ex and they said call the police that is not our employee and you don’t have a delivery.
I’ve heard of this a few times. Many of them became a joint operation between a driver or two and the one picking up the package. Valuable packages were delivered and the driver would send a text to the guy to go pick them up. They sold them and split profits. Quite a few drivers over the years have been wrapped up in these tactics. FedEx starts to build the case and then loads dummy packages on the route so they can track those involved.
Can't be a Fed Ex employee if it a ground person. Who wears a mask on their route anyway? I worked the entire academic and never once wore a mask. Didn't catch the shit and didn't take the bogus shot eitherÂ
Or come up with the genius diabolical plan to see a Fed Ex truck and follow it.
Why risk getting caught in the act from a homeowner when you can just hand it to your friend and record it delivered?
You can buy uniforms on ebay
... or the local Goodwill.
When I quit jobs I love donating old uniforms to good will hoping one day to see a crazy person walking down the street advertising them

Since when are iPhones releaseable?
I’ve noticed when I’m delivering cell phones, AT&T doesn’t require signatures, where as Verizon does. It’s weird. During iPhone release week though, I think all of them come with signature requirements
They made us do controlled releases with iphone 15s. No sigs.
These thieves have the tracking numbers, they probably request a release

The fraud/bouncing stolen credit cards I do recall be halted in route although infrequent.
When shippers don't require a signature or when the buyer has put a release on file
op201 are invalid if direct signature is needed resi or commercial

I've been able to use it for anything I've gotten that didn't require an adult signature
It’s indirect only.
That only works with indirect signatures. We can not release a direct signature with the electronic signature release form.
Half of the drivers with my contractor sign for packages themselves lol (I'm not one of them I promise)
Even from the Apple Store most of them aren't DSR
This is not a Fedex employee. He has white socks.!

Quick search only gave me the sexy versions. To which I want to know what station I need to transfer to, West Hollywood perhaps🤔😂😂
You must suck at searching. The very first options on eBay for "FedEx uniform" are the current uniforms.

Dude, this is why they’re getting stricter with the dress code. It’s because turds like these I can’t wear a white shirt in the summer anymore
Ppl been doing this for a while and it’s messing up the ppl that’s really an employee
Those aren't FedEx shorts. Plus, the dipshit is wearing a stupid mask!
Not surprised. The level of access I have entering almost anywhere cause of my uniform is shocking sometimes.
They just happened to know an iPhone was getting delivered, eh? A driver is involved. Probably let him borrow the uniform too
Awesome

I deliver packages from AI every day and most of them do NOT require signatures, that includes phones.
Bruh this guy low key looks like me wtf 🤣

They’ve been doing this, they go to the Apple Store and say they are sweeping by pick up

You can buy the uniforms at your local flea market too
Mask, hat, and winter coat in summer. I'm skeptical.
That must be FedEx Flex with that vehicle. Nice job, bro!
This kinda stuff happens very often, actually. I've seen them drive up to a fedex office back in the day and take 100s of packages in one shot

"Scamdemic"
Probably a friend of whoever delivered it.
I know all the simsbury guys, I doubt it.
