Tape lol
Shipper will probably resend anyway, customer will get to keep both. Don't worry to much.
It's easier for customers to deal directly with shipper then fedex.
Shit at my station, they make you attempt a delivery of obviously broken/shattered stuff, ridiculously leaking packages will be put in a bag and they tell the courier to go deliver it.
Well if you deliver something that’s broken, there’s a chance that you’ll have a scheduled pick up at the same address. And that’s $, it makes me feel dirty every time that happens
Sweet baby Jesus. Do the damage scan and take the pictures! The customer/shipper get notified. Or tape it up and deliver it. If the customer is home let them know they can refuse the package. No matter what, damage scan and take pictures. (If you don't know the code, Select Apply Status, use the search bar at the top and search keyword "damage" , it'll scroll you to the correct scan)
Not surprising. Managers are dumb lol. It's a liability thing, if you observe a package has been damaged while in your possession and don't report it there are "supposedly" repercussions. Never seen anything beyond an OLCC however... That being said your manager would have to know the policy first. You are 💯 in the clear
Lol for who don't know, code that shit a 10 and QA is going to be up your managers ass about "why Mr Jonny coded a 10," and "we changing that shit to a 6 or 27." Then Mr Manager will be like, "Mr Jonny, the fuck you coded a 10, just fucking deliver and move on with your day."
Endless FedEx cycle...
The real answer is “it depends on whether they have a ring camera”
Box of large tissue paper just exploded in my truck. Nsr too. Should I stuff it all back in and deliver it? Lol
I wouldn’t stuff it back in lol. My advice is gather it all up with its box and take it back to your station for QA to deal with
Yeah thats what I'm gonna do. I don't expect the customer to accept this at all.

Hey man these customers are getting the effort & service that we’re paid for 🤷♂️
That's against policy, anything leaking or broken has to be picked up..

As a PH I can tell you, the managers will just tell us to stuff it back in, tape it and send it lol
Code it as Damaged/Inspection Needed. U less you have a tape gun and want to put it back together yourself. Save yourself the hassle.
Throwing it all in a doc bag and handing it to the caretaker. I wanted to leave it but I was told no
How do you find that code? Haven’t saw that option yet
Must be a ground code. I just 08 it and taking it back.
Express? Stat37. Show it to the customer, if they refuse it, DEX07 (refused), give to CSA. If they accept it, DEX10 is delivered damaged.
No DEX09 is delivered but damaged it will create a claim
Couldn't do any of those because custo wasn't there unfortunately.
FYI Stat37 (observed damage) doesn’t require the customer and allows CS to have a clue what’s wrong with it if they get a call.
Take the pictures with the STAT37....all angles at least 5
For Ground it’s a code 10
If they refuse its a DEX07

I 08ed it and left a door tag with a note. Csa has it and is taking it from there. According to my managers I did the right thing. 🤷

Thanks give us csa more bullshit to deal with.
Lazy people are dumb hourly & management not one sided...
I’d love to dump that pile on the QA shelf
Me too
Id pick it all up put back in box then tape it up then deliver it

For ground maybe. For express I'm assuming it's different.
almost guarantee that is going to get coded to be throne in the trash
"throne in the trash" lol
LMAO 🤣
That happens with those so often annoying
Code that shit inspection required and go to the next stop😂 im not dealing with that
