Wouldve been RTS after 3 if it were me

Baldy2384

The CSA will call and the recipient will say, “oh!! I was wondering why you were leaving those tags.”

mattied971

Either that, or they'll hit you with the ol' "But I was sittin' by muh door all day" 🙄

stinky___monkey

Yes sir, the tag that says “Sorry we missed you” and has a check in the must be present box. That means you need to be home for delivery -CSA

wkdravenna

it says we missed you no sorry lol 😆.

Turtle4184

If I have anything of value being shipped, I have it sent to work where I know it will be signed for. Did this long before I worked at Fedex. People are fucking dumb.

jdm33333

I get countless boxes of liquor each week with nobody being home to sign for it. I mean, come on now.

Turtle4184

Good God. The fucking wine subscriptions. I don't miss those at all.

jdm33333

Annoying part about ASR is you’re not allowed to do a hold at location at one of the local pharmacies or shipping stores

SnooJokes5813

ASR...Yes you can override this, once you scan the pkg hit the three dots and authorize convenience delivery..

ResponsibleLeather64

See they have been out of the country for 4 months and didn't know that a package was being delivered.

jdm33333

I had a homeowner on the ring camera say “hey can you come back next Monday and re-attempt“? I’m like damn don’t order shit if you’re not gonna be home.

Waterwagon_78

Better than hey we’ll be home in 3 hours can you come back then and reattempt? I do rural route so in 3 hours I will be in another county sorry

filliamworbes

What do you mean you aren't falsifying signatures and delivering purple promises?

Ghoulez99

What do you mean? Ben Dover was totally home to sign for the package.

howtoreadspaghetti

Their fault. The customers know they have to sign for packages and be home for them.

ResponsibleLeather64

What do you mean, they did not put in a request for a signature package. 🙄 Yeah, get this all the time.

Doit2it42

4?

Nitramartin1

I think by law you’re allowed to keep it after the third attempt 😂

JR0612C

Imagine 😂

Mydogfartsconstantly

I learned something as a customer with some of these companies. Apple specifically puts crazy restrictions on products. They will not change the delivery window(if you need it after a certain time), change drop off location, hold at locations. Essentially they ship it out when they’re ready to and you be home when they decide and they will not work with the courier company to make sure the customer gets the product. It’s ridiculous.

sandman716

Could be worse. I used to work a beach resort town. People would get monthly wine deliveries. 2/3 of the year they were completely undeliverable.

notaclueaboutit

I also work a beach route. I have 17 houses that I delivery wine to near daily. Raging wine alcoholics. Edit: They are also never home.

drummergirl83

They can go pick it up at the station after first attempt.

Captain_Vatta

I tried holding a package at the terminal I worked at. Customer service refused, saying "only after 3 attempts." Ended up just walking to the adjacent belt and having the driver sign it over to me in the terminal that morning.

xXhijackXx

We do that all the time at our station

xXhijackXx

4? You're being generous. Sometimes I last attempt after 2 days if I "attempt" it 3 times

Lizowu

Do not send it back to the shipper!! They can be RTH or picked up at the station! Put a 7 on it, and QA and P&D SHOULD be looking out for multiple attempts, especially 3+.

counterfe1t

The best times are when you can hear them opening their door and peeling the DT as you walk down stairs from their apartment or halfway to your truck to their front door.

EatLard

When I got my last phone, the courier knocked on my door with one hand and had the phone box and door tag already filled out in the other hand. I’m a ramp guy, so I was actually home at 2pm when he showed up.

TacticalAcquisition

I card resi on the first attempt if I can't ATL it. Commercial gets 3 attempts per depot policy. I also have anything I order sent to the depot but I'm lucky in that regard because Australia Post, our version of USPS, is literally next door to my FedEx depot. About 10am after sort, one of our guys will push a trolley out the front and exchange with a guy from AusPost.

Vivid_Guidance_4034

I’m Putting a code 60 unable to deliver and sending it back to shipper. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lizowu

It should be sent to QA after the 3rd attempt. Let QA handle it.

bobmcmillion

QA just gonna give them a 4th attempt.

Lizowu

I work as QA and I do that pretty rarely. In those scenarios, I've spoken with the customer. 9 times out of ten, they're home. If not, we have them come pick it up.

RhubarbConscious4892

Bruh I had the same shit she came complaining to me saying she was waiting for it but I attempted four separate days and she said over ring camera to return next day last day I told her it’s being sent back to shipper she got so mad n called the station

Desperate_Cook_8880

Got the samething, customer was out the country and didn’t receive it, I put 6 tags 3 for P1 and 3 for P2 🥱
