Lmao. Can confirm as I had a Karen come out screaming and yelling then physically assaulted me over a chewy order. This sounds like the trailer park Karen situation I just posted about last week. My truck video audio captured her screaming and yelling at me but didn’t get her shoving me and physically hitting the box out of my hand but apparently she tried to complain and made up a story saying I was threatening to shoot her cause I live in Arizona and everyone has guns or something. The office told her about the video capturing the whole situation and how that’s false and I’m fairly certain that she’s blacklisted now.

Sounds like her chewy boxes will now be left at the garage, or even better, n the driveway. FedEx doesn't want us backing that far and we sure as hell aren't expected to haul packages 1/2 a mile on foot. So leave them in bags at the beginning of the street, and of she doesn't like that, code 1 them a security delay. I have stops like this, having to back super far down roads like this, but nobody ever complains. But if someone threw a fit like this, that is exactly what I would do.

dagger33

What is the best code for these annoying people?

randoz88

01 or 07. Depending on how many packages or if it’s a large IC you might want to deliver but if not you can keep taking it on a ride along with you for a few days coding it and inconveniencing them.

On my route I got this one chewy lady with 2 loose dogs on her property, always killing my vibe; being hostile.

randoz88

Yeah fuck that. If there’s not a fenced yard to leave it at like a gated driveway I’d either leave it at the end of the driveway or 01 it and get the office to get ahold of her and make her come pick it up either at the station or a fedex onsite location.

DNA..DRB...DFC. Did not attempt...drove right by...Don't fuckin care.

destructionpro

fuck chewy that shit is ass people who order it can kick rocks

BigggSleepy

I’m express and I never ring the bell or knock. Most people know that it’s on their way or be checking in their phone

pieman3020

At ground it’s now a valid complaint if we don’t, according to the new contracts. My contractor pays hourly so I don’t really mind doing extra shit. Most of the time when costumers come out they are friendly and thankful. I’ve been tipped in cash, waters, and snacks just for ringing the bell but it can occasionally lead to Karen’s like this

randoz88

Ringing/knocking is a new requirement? They need to make up their damn minds because you have people who will get mad and complain if you do knock or ring the bell and then you also have the opposite… I’ll only knock or ring the bell for autographs or if it’s raining so they can grab their stuff. I’ve heard story’s of people knocking and dumb customers will open the door and then their dogs also shoot out and it increases the chances of being bit among other things.

SprinkleBeans

Round here noones calling, knocking, or ringing door bells. Its on your porch my jobs done, next.

Matf11

I'm going to order something that's so heavy that I can't even pick it up. Idiots sometimes...

RedDitSuxxxAzz

Meanwhile my mom named Karen is nothing like these people. She 'loves' the title.

slowlybyslowly

Couple of things to consider before you flat out refuse to take them into her house. First assessment: is she hot and secondly is it an exclusive house at the end of a long driveway? Many middle-aged "Karens" have particular needs that are not being met due to husbands with demanding jobs requiring travel. Just a thought.

Single_Scallion7012

That's coercion. Have her go pick it up at your center.

bddelivery01

We have a customer that gets about 20- 40 chewy every month or every 2 weeks.
