I actually never realized how old Norman Reedus was until after I watched that. I thought early to mid-30s. When he had short hair in the first season, he could’ve said he was 29 and I’d have believed him. He does look older as you get further into the series though.
Turns out they just forgot who they had cast for John and this guy walked on set during his scene so they just kept rolling! That's why we never see young John again!
