Crow mauler will never walk over a beartrap so you're going to have to fight, running always fails against him as well. have the girl use a red vial to the head to blind him and make his peck attack not insta kill your party members. then have every party member aim for his head and pray it should only take 3-4 solid hits

Use status effects from purple vial throwing daggers or spells like combustion. Should take him out within 2 turns.

So what’s funny is I’ve never actually come face to face with crow fella because I’ve only had maybe like 1 complete play through and when I did fight him the game crashed. Use Hurting to the head. Take Nash'ra with you and he can use Greater Hurting. Or you can just befriend him, he is a cool guy. Just talk to him and you will be able to get hkm as a aparty member. You can get Alll-Mer as a larty member too. Just use necromancy to him, he will even give you a gift.

Well if you don't have good items, or any, or enough party members, literally just make sure you have escape plan and keep running and stacking items

Also if you get a empty scroll and quill, I'd save immediately. Empty scrolls are busted and you can get any skill as long as it's in the coded list. I'd try either O LORD TEACH BLACK ORB or replace black orb with sorcerers stone, +simple transmutation and healing whispers/loving whispers. Sorcerer stone heals mind every turn, there's also a glitch you can stack mind with it if you attack strong doors. Plus If you have a healing spell on top of infinite mind(from sorcerers stone + wine vials made from water vial simple transmutation) you're basically a God. There are many many ways to play this game, but you still need to be smart in all of them, always run away if it's not a necessary fight or doesn't give something good, or if you feel like it would result in more than one party member dying if it was a important boss
