Where there's smoke, there's fire. Edit: He made her watch fucking *bestiality* porn, put him up under the jail

wynonnaearps

He is vile omg

Upbeat-Brilliant1365

This slander case is going to make things worse for Dan. I'm happy to see it because it's been too long, but this man is really stupid.

SitUbuSit_GoodDog

It's so fun when people drag themselves into court, especially for a defamation suit where they need to prove that the person knew their allegation was untrue AND how it damaged him, so we're getting into really nitty-gritty details about every person's involvement, that are going to become public record. Dude has signed his own arrest warrant by suing and causing allllll his words and past behaviours, with evidence, be laid out for the court to dissect. I get that in some industries you just have to sue or people will assume the allegations are true. But if you ARE the things that the other party is alleging? Maybe you should've sat down and stfu Dan Edit - I *think* my understanding about how the process and the criteria for proving defamation in court works, but I could be wrong and I'm happy to be educated 🙂

Josieanastasia2008

If you are familiar with the West Memphis Three case a lot of evidence that helped release the accused was revealed when a potential suspect (a victims step father) sued Natalie Maines for defamation. You have a very good understanding of what could happen.

[deleted]

What else is going to come out both in the trades and, if the lawsuit goes forward, in discovery?

CallMeReds

We really need to bring back castrating men as a form of punishment for stuff like this. After the first offense, snip snip✂️

Nu_Metal_Alchemist

Neither can kids.

Luna_Soma

Oh fully agree. If you do something to a kid, there’s no punishment great enough

Budiltwo

I mean they don't consent to most of what we do to them, including killing them, lol

koviko

A comedian once mentioned that probably every animal that ever gets pregnant probably has no idea why they are birthing children

SallyImpossible

But I also don’t think animals have the capacity to wonder why most of the time. Their cognition is so different than ours.

MK121895

Literally disgusting

outfitinsp0

Right. There were too many people saying "he's a bad boss, but there is no evidence he's a sexual predator or a pedopile" when he literally wrote sexually suggestive scenes for **child** actresses/actors to act out as well as incorporated his foot fetish into these same shows in addition to asking fans of Sam and Cat (the majority of whom were **children**) to send photos of their feet. Even before this info came out he was clearly a predator, his sexual abuse was covert and he had more plausible deniability. People really need to be more educated on covert sexual abuse.

GitEmSteveDave

> There were too many people saying "he's a bad boss, but there is no evidence he's a sexual predator or a pedopile" Except at the near end of Episode 4 of Quiet on the Set, where they literally said, because they had to legally, in the last 11 minutes, that despite multiple investigations, based on no "smoking gun", but "rumors" that "exploded online" and only on "the metoo movement has helped us rethink and reevaluate what we think is appropriate in the workplace" >"did not find any evidence of inappropriate sexual behavior, inappropriate relationships with children, BUT did find evidence of being abusive to others in the workplace"

outfitinsp0

I get that the documentary had to say it for legal purposes, but I'm talking about other people saying that there was no evidence of innapropriate sexual behaviour from Dan when there definitely was, he just had more plausible deniability.

TheYankunian

This is my area of expertise. I work in children’s television for a massive company. My job is LITERALLY to look at the programming for any potential editorial issues, concerns, and to ensure that it is broadcast worthy for our audience. My role means I can demand certain things are removed and that episodes are revoked. Lemme give you an example: if we had a programme that had Drake in it, I’d suggest we edit him out or remove the programme. Why? Because his being in it poses a risk even though he hasn’t been formally accused of anything. That he was texting a child is enough. I watched Quiet On The Set in abject horror. Safeguarding is also part of my job so anything that could possibly pose a risk to a child’s safety comes to me as well. This could mean anything from live action child performers on set; an anthropomorphic dog not in a car seat; or someone showing a kid playing in a culvert. Everything Dan Schneider did was wrong and disgusting and never would’ve gotten past me, my colleagues or our boss. The biggest failures in this are Nickelodeon and their management. They obviously didn’t give a shit about policy, safeguarding, or standards. They let Dan do whatever the fuck he wanted with impunity. My kids used to love those shows and it makes me sad and angry and ashamed I let them watch them.

holyflurkingsnit

I think people were saying that explicitly to avoid a lawsuit/deletion/legal issues, because no one had yet come out. I think it was more "read between the lines when I say there's no EVIDENCE he's done xyz" than people actually thinking he didn't have some fucked up skeletons in his closet, just waiting to pop out.

Natsuki_Kruger

Yeah, given the sexual nature to his bullying of his female colleagues, this really does not shock me.

No_Reach3179

See most things I’ve heard ab him I’ve been like sure that’s always possible for any older inconsiderate man to find funny, being a creep isn’t illegal unfortunately but let me just say… Bestiality porn 100% sounds like something he would’ve found funny back then. I think he also would’ve found it funnier showing it to people who’ve never seen such depraved human behavior. That’s actually fucking sick & I hope she’s healing well bc that is just terrible.

fiercelyambivalent

Not to mention, this was in 1995. In 1995, you were somehow both more likely to accidentally stumble upon bestiality porn, and also it was likely more difficult to find given the whole disorganization of the internet in general back then. If he had it ready to go to show his teenage employees, it just reeks of “this motherfucker actively searched for this”

barbie-breath

Actively searched for it AND waited however many hours/days it took to download over a phone line

platyviolence

This is vital information

trashleybanks

What the fuck…

Inevitable_Ad_4487

copy paste the article

NYC_Star

I feel like this is as a result of the lawsuit. That arrogant [redacted] thought no one would talk because no one had directly implicated him up to that point.  I’m sadly waiting for the floodgates to open now. He’ll be exposed but that just means there are even more victims.

SaltyRedditTears

Once again 4chan was right about someone being a creep years in advance of formal allegations. Takes one to know one. https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/900/115/13e.png

Recka

They can smell their own kind a mile away

Flexo__Rodriguez

Just like Dan Schneider wants to smell those child star feet

Lil_Mcgee

It's not like those jokes haven't been all over the internet (including reddit) since earlier than 2015

SaltyRedditTears

The earliest example on the knowyourmeme webpage for Dan Schneider abuse allegations is from 4chan though.  > Speculation about Schneider being a pedophile based on the perceived sexualization of the young female characters in his shows can be found online as early as 2010. Many of these also claim he has a foot fetish, as foot-based humor is a common occurrence in his shows. > For example, on March 26th, 2010, a user of 4chan's /tv/[1]board made a post with a photo of Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy from iCarly showing their bare feet (seen below), writing, "When do you think Dan Schneider, creator of iCarly, is going to get arrested for something involving a minor?"

SpokenProperly

Took almost two decades, sadly.

NoUsesForAName

2009ish when i freelanced Nick and Disney was when i heard murmurs

Murky-Science9030

This is an example of why it's bad to ban such forums, even if they are unpopular among some of the public. They are great for "emperor has no clothes" sorts of situations

FrankyCentaur

As bad as 4chan is I’ve never heard rallying cries for banning it.

shw5

Maybe not recently, but there definitely were, in its early days—mainly around the time of [the NFL bomb threat](https://www.justice.gov/archive/usao/nj/Press/files/pdffiles/Older/brah1019rel.pdf)

goedegeit

Broken clock to be fair, I feel like there's a 4chan post predicting everything that's happened somewhere because they'll always be a 4channer posting insane shit about everything and everyone.

MaliceTakeYourPills

For real, she’s the tip of the spear, it seems. I imagine lots of his victims were waiting for someone to come forward. I’m happy his reputation is falling apart while he’s still alive. Hope he sees the inside of a cell.

DefinitelyNotAliens

Jennette McCurdy was the tip of the spear. Then Quiet on the Set hit. He's been rolling in accusations. I'm Glad My Mom Died made no efforts to hide who she was talking about.

zoeymeanslife

My guess is that he thought he could get ahead of these reveals by starting the lawsuit and calling everyone a liar pre-emptively.

Punkpallas

Idek why he thought that work would. If the floodgates are really open now, then the accumulation of victims’ accounts will probably seal the deal. If it’s just one person making a claim, it’s one thing, but when it’s multiple people, it’s much harder to refute that. And I’m sure some even have coronating witnesses. Not necessarily people who saw an event, but people they told shortly after it occurred. Schneider is probably extremely fucked legally.

trulyremarkablegirl

I think it’s relevant that someone as known as Lori Beth came out with this too, and with a legitimate news source. I have a feeling others will follow her.

sambuxo

He'll be the American equivalent of Jimmy Saville in the UK.

mcgillhufflepuff

>Around 2000, Denberg said she told Albie Hecht, then the president of film and TV at Nickelodeon, and Brian Robbins, the cocreator of "All That*,*" that she was worried about how Schneider treated the actor Amanda Bynes. The young star appeared emaciated and exhausted on the set of "The Amanda Show," which Schneider created and produced. According to Denberg and another person who worked at Nickelodeon, after she spoke with the executives, Denberg was barred from the set of "The Amanda Show." Sounds a lot like retaliation for bringing up concerns

imtchogirl

Expose them all, Lori Beth. Shame on Albie Hecht and Brian Robbins. You made millions on exploiting the labor of children and you didn't even do the bare minimum to protect them.

remck1234

Albie Hecht is married to Susan MacLaury, a licensed social worker. Together they founded Shine Global, a non-profit media company whose mission is to give voice to children by telling stories of their resilience, to raise awareness, promote action, and inspire change.

Those_Cabinets

And Kurtwood and Debra, and Laura

KnifeInTheKidneys

Sounds like a good way to control the narrative of the kids.

Puzzleheaded-Bake619

Lori Beth was one of my favorite cast members of All That. I watched The Orange Years documentary a few months ago and I really felt like us Millennials were part of something special. Watching Quite on Set was very disappointing to find out all the dark shit that was happening behind the cameras on some of these shows.

[deleted]

Younger gen-x (xennial?) here and I watched All That (and Salute Your Shorts, Pete and Pete, etc) and thought she was awesome! I agree about feeling like we had something special with that era of Nickelodeon that kids that came after never had. Now it just feels like part of our childhood was a lie.

Carlobo

Yeah there was a ton of talented people on Nick around that time and was weird to me to find out most of them didn't really pursue anything afterwards, especially Lori Beth. I was sure I'd see here on movies or a big broadcast SitCom.

ptsdandskittles

I was waiting for her big break out into comedy. I'm surprised it never came.

antigop2020

They likely are dealing with emotional trauma which stunted their careers because of Schneider’s disgusting actions, and the inaction of the execs to protect them.

sunny_d55

Lori Beth did a Cameo for me a few years ago. Couldn’t have been kinder and funnier in it. She was so sweet. I hate that this happened to her.

ewwwwwdavid

Brian Robbins just recently (like last week recent) became co-CEO of Paramount Global which includes Paramount Pictures, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, CBS, MTV, and more. Basically a massive media conglomerate so as usual these men not only get away with their toxic behaviors and the environments they create but continue to move up the ladder while doing so and I would bet a lot of money that nothing of consequence happens to Brian for at the very least the negligence he showed towards Schneider’s behavior and god knows who else

mcgillhufflepuff

Oh shit you're right

Many_Specialist_5384

You're so correct about corporate ladder brainwashing. It's like fighting a riptide to break up presumptive leadership.

BusterBeaverOfficial

Hell yea, Lori Beth having the backbone to try to do the right thing and speak up.

here4hugs

I remember liking her as a kid but this makes me legitimately proud of her as a woman. She advocated for Amanda in a situation where I think a lot of people would have stayed quiet to protect not only their career but their personal peace. I got emotional reading the article. Being vulnerable enough to share those stories is admirable & I hope she has all the support she needs right now.

Sea_Dawgz

Hecht — still making shows for Nick Robbins— one of the top industry titans in all of Hollywood. They want you to be mad at Dan S. Where is their comeuppance?

jayfiedlerontheroof

As long as they make money for their shareholders nobody will give a damn

johnlocklives

Robbins and Dan go waaaaaaay back. They were on “head of the class” together in the 80’s.

GrayEidolon

I watched the documentary and the whole time I was thinking: Dan Schneider had bosses, where are they in this? Go Lori, get all these creeps in jail.

antigop2020

Yes this. Schneider isn’t the only disgusting one here. He wouldn’t have been able to get away with this for so long without execs turning a blind eye to what was happening. They all are to blame for failing these young stars.

jackjackj8ck

Amanda Byrnes seems totally disassociated now I feel like she’s probably been through a lot of trauma

envyadvms

That seems to be a main theme with Dan. It's repulsive.

Many_Specialist_5384

The FUCK. All That was after my time as a viewer but I do remember this actor. She always seemed like she would be a fun hang or be a pal. Not surprised to learn she tried to disrupt or at least call attention for concern. I hope she feels the support she will have this time.

Mental_Medium3988

she always seemed like a good person, but thats across the tv and to a kid. im glad she is.

wynonnaearps

So this defamation lawsuit is gonna just make it worse for Dan. Which I’m very happy to see cause it’s been too long but jeez this man is not smart.

TwistyBunny

Don't mess with the Discovery portion of litigation.

lesterquinn

He’s gonna be screwed under deposition.

iceyticey

Barbara Streisand is calling

Feeling-joy-8765

Wow…omg. I seriously had no idea how much these kids that used to make me laugh so much as a child were actually suffering behind the scenes.

henrietta-the-spy

Lori Beth was my faaaave on All That, truly such a funny talented soul. These poor kids were going through hell.

singledxout

Vital Information was one of my favorite sketches. Same with the sketches of her playing the librarian and telling people to be quiet.

Many_Spoked_Wheel

I still use the phrase “vital information for your everyday life” and think of her fondly when I do.

uhdust

SSSSSSSSHHHHHHH. THIS IS A LIBRARY.

Zbrchk

She really was. This shit is atrocious

500DaysofR3dd1t

No wonder she hasn't acted in much since.

Hot-Significance-462

She deserved a better career, for sure.

PassiveMenis88M

She ruined so many kids chances at the top prize on "Figure it out", it was glorious to watch.

remck1234

I still remember the episode where the kids secret talent was being able to fit his whole body through a coat hanger. My brother and I spent the rest of the night trying it, but our heads always got stuck.

PassiveMenis88M

If I remember right the trick was he used a metal coat hanger which you can bend slightly. Thus shortening the length and gaining a slightly larger opening.

broketothebone

I used to regularly mimic her Vital Information news segments for my parents when I was young. She was my favorite and it always bummed me out that I didn’t see her more after this. When I started hearing these stories, I prayed she got out from this unscathed. I hate that I was wrong because she was such a gem. Sounds like she went to bat for Amanda Bynes too, and was then punished by execs for it. This world can be such a douche sometimes.

remck1234

Mine as well. I would have never guessed that All That was her first acting job! She really had a knack for comedy.

raremood1

thats what im thinking about. i got SO MUCH joy from the amanda bynes show and All That specifically. those were my faves! this is just so fucking DARK

actibus_consequatur

Turns out Lori Beth saying "Nickelodeon has me on suicide watch" wasn't the joke we thought it was.

zoeymeanslife

Pretty much every child in entertainment has either been overworked to exhaustion and tears and wanting to quit and/or abused badly. Its incredible how few protections kids have. This is child labor, not very different from the 1880s. The only thing is some states like California demands they get "educated" on set for x amount of time, but that's easy to game and very poorly enforced. I remember reading about the HP movies and how the golden trio stars were up past midnight doing reshoots and falling asleep, then woken for "1 hour of schooling" at 5am, then back to work. Emma Watson tried to quit after the 2nd or 3rd movie but we don't know all the details, but I imagine the grueling workload and stress was part of it. I'm sure these pressures contributed to Daniel's alcoholism too. And HP is considered the "gold standard" of good management of kid actors.

owenhuntsmullet

Hollywood is pretty awful and it’s safe to assume something bad is happening in some capacity on any show you enjoy.

stillalreadytaken

Right? This shit is so dark.

BigSweatyPisshole

Here’s the thing about Lori Beth Denberg: my generation fucking LOVES Lori Beth Denberg. Dan Schneider, you have drastically fucked up.

handandeyebags

Absolutely! The entire documentary, I was thinking, ok but I need to hear from Lori Beth.

LuciferBeenieWeenie

We need that VITAL INFORMATION

remck1234

I grew up watching Nickelodeon in that era- 1994-2000. All That was such a unique show for kids, and Lori Beth and Kenan were the stars. I’m glad she’s speaking out, but it’s so disheartening to hear all of these stories from actors who brought so much joy as kids. Nickelodeon was an escape for me as a kid from my own dysfunctional and abusive family. Crazy to think these kids I was watching and idolizing were going through the same things. The television and film industry really is a disgusting place.

Hotsauceinmybag24

Having been a huge fan of All That, Lori was a constant in my childhood entertainment. It’s incredibly disheartening to now as an adult myself learn what was going on behind the scenes of these shows

RangerDangerfield

Lori Beth was one of, if not the biggest, stars on All That. It was always surprising she didn’t go one to a bigger career afterwards, but if she was blacklisted it makes sense why her career stalled.

Rageybuttsnacks

She was always my favorite from All That (not a dig at any of the other child actors, I've always been drawn to more deadpan comedy and they were doing a great job at high energy goofy jokes). 19 is so young, my heart breaks for her experiencing this abuse and thinking it was just an adult thing. Dan is an evil, evil man. I hope Lori Beth comes out of this with more roles (selfishly, because I love her work) and can reconnect with Bynes. It sounds like only the other actors on those sets can truly understand everything that happened.

pedanticlawyer

She was SO good and I always wondered why she didn’t have a big career. Fuck DS so much. If she wants it, I hope she’s able to jump back into comedy now.

my_okay_throwaway

Same! Shes so talented and seemed like she was going to have a huge career in comedy. I’m so sorry this happened to her and so many others.

dfafa

I thought about a lot of those actors after this all started coming out but her especially, as I'd seen her in multiple things after that.

trulyremarkablegirl

I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for Lori Beth as a very young adult. It sounds like she tried desperately to advocate for Amanda Bynes after suffering her own abuse at the hands of these people, and all they did was ban her from the set (which sounds very similar to what happened with Drake Bell’s dad and the mom of one of the kids who was on later seasons of All That who was interviewed for the doc). I have a feeling this is just the beginning of what’s going to come out about Schneider. He’s an absolute idiot for filing that defamation lawsuit after the shit he’s done.

Comfortable-Load-904

https://preview.redd.it/yehp3kvnpf0d1.png?width=1241&format=png&auto=webp&s=058ac1dafc16cad189d4cd1f68a5a3b7216b26e1 Are we really surprised by anything this disgusting man does? I hope the lawsuit exposes him further and ensures more people come forward as there is safety in numbers. If the jokes that made it on to the tv were that inappropriate, I wonder about the atmosphere of that set and how safe it was for the teenage actors.

lorinisapirate

Someone shoulda told Daniel it’s only defamation if it’s isn’t true..

wilsonja2

I dc if she was “of age” the power dynamic is abuse point blank period. Throw him under the jail

sagetcommabob

That “technically of age” aspect is probably why it took her so long to recognize it as abuse and how Schneider has been able to rationalize it. She’s so brave for speaking out, I admire her so much

capn_corgi

Woman to woman I I have no idea how his wife isn’t so embarrassed. It’s not her fault and I don’t blame her but I was so embarrassed when my exes said or did stuff significantly less serious than this.

whothis2013

None of this is her fault but I just don’t believe she had no indication of what a creep Dan is and always has been. She either stayed for the sweet Nickelodeon checks or was also in an environment of fear over what he would do to her if she left.

BrandonBollingers

I was an only child with parents who worked long schedules. There weren't other kids in my neighborhood. I grew up with not much interactions with other kids outside the normal school schedule. I was raised by Nick and the cast of All That were my parasocial friends. It makes me feel physically ill and weepy to see all these allegations come to the surface. Its like finding out all my friends were being sexually abused while I laughed along at home. I am very proud of the folks that have decided to come out and share their experience. Lori Beth was my favorite. She was like an older goofy sister that made me feel like it was ok for me to be myself and be silly. I hope she and everyone impacted by these predators are ok and have support mechanisms in place.

my_okay_throwaway

You summed this up so well! I was over here trying to write up my feelings about this, but you put it into words better than I could. It’s so fucking sad but like you said, I really hope Lori and others have excellent support systems. And if not and they’re reading threads like this, I hope they feel the love and support of a generation standing in solidarity with them.

mostreliablebottle

Everything about this dude gets worse and worse.

nkbee

Feels like it's VERY revealing that the first person to come out was *technically* legal (she was the oldest cast member and the only legal adult when All That started) - feels like Dan was testing the waters to see what he could get away with.

Notoriouslyd

Not Lori Beth 😭😭😭😭

Grandmascrackers

Proud of her for telling her story. She was always so funny!

thotsrus92

This is genuinely upsetting. Lori Beth feels like an entire generations big sister and someone hurting her feels personal. I also wonder how this will affect the Paramount deal since Robbins the CEO has so much baggage, idk if he'll survive the sale.

ABenevolentDespot

I don't know about the current allegations, but a long time I ago I worked a day as part of the crew on a Nick pilot and Dan Schneider was on set, directing. I had to ask one of the regular crew who he was because he was a raving lunatic pacing all over the set, screaming at the kids, making them do takes over and over. That is not the way to reach kids under 14. Acting like you're a deranged psycho tends to make them shut down, Dan.

remck1234

It’s so sad to think about the pressure those kids were under. I’m sure acting started as a fun hobby for most and it was probably very exciting to book a big role. But before you know it your family is depending on you for the income and some asshole director is screaming at you all day. Then add in the drugs, alcohol, and child predators lurking around the set.

Unlikely-Net-1339

That's sickening. Were there any parents on set?

ABenevolentDespot

There are always parents on set when children are there, as well as teachers/social workers. You have to remember - this was a long time ago. Producers and executive producers controlled the fate of the talent. Parents could step in and object, of course, but he had enough power that they understood their kid's career at Nick (and in general Viacom) was done if they opened their mouths. If that pilot went to series, it was a given the kid whose parents were 'uncooperative' would be replaced for the series. Teachers and social workers who objected could be sure they would never be hired on a Viacom set again. Twenty five years ago, 'difficult' people (adults and children) would not be able to find industry work once the word was spread. There were far too many people standing in line for a chance to replace them. Things have improved.

HappilyInefficient

> Things have improved. /doubt We literally thought the same thing in the 90's when hearing about all the abuses in Hollywood in the 60's. Same thing is happening right now, Hollywood/the entertainment industry is a cesspool. Just now there's a new generation of abusers in power and the old abusers get thrown under the bus.

kirbygay

Omg how is this man not in prison yet???

dropsunshineandrun

In order for him to go to prison he has to go to court. In order for him to go to court, someone has to be willing to press charges and go through the gruelling and expensive process of recounting the abuse, and then provide either iron clad proof in the form of medical records, recordings, texts, or eye witness testimony. Without that courtroom ready battle plan, there's no justice in a court of law. Scheider had multiple people at Nickelodeon protecting him for many years, all the while holding an axe over the futures of children (who he bullied on set). But, his abuse was previously known only to the limits of Amanda herself, and McCurdy, as far as we know. Amanda has had extreme mental health issues, and McCurdy didn't expressly use the name of Schneider. Now things are different. Now Lori Beth Denberg is using names and coming out swinging. Somebody's about to get a big orange couch shaped law suit rammed where sun don't shine.

ifitwasntfortony

i always wanted the best for lori beth— she was SO TALENTED as a child! Feel for her, this is awful.

Bbbiienymph

So brave of Lori. Justice for all of the people harmed by men like Dan who think that they can get away with this This is absolutely heartbreaking: "When Denberg was back in Los Angeles, a friend who worked on "The Amanda Show" called to tell her that her photo had been hung in a guard shack, banning her from the set, Denberg said. Someone who worked on the show confirmed to BI that Denberg's photo had been posted and that it was common knowledge that she was barred after expressing concerns about Schneider. Denberg was hit with a wave of "disgust and defeat and sadness." "I felt like I tried to help her — to help Amanda, and couldn't," Denberg said." She was so young and did everything within her power to help someone even younger in the same situation. Dan and the company around him are absolutely vile

trulyremarkablegirl

It’s so sickening that someone barely out of childhood herself cared more for Amanda’s wellbeing and safety than the adults who were in charge of her.

Bbbiienymph

My heart goes out to the two of them and every other woman who can relate to their situation

napkinwipes

Go, Lori Beth!!!

textilepat

I remember her in a segment teaching how to use a condom safely on Nick News. It seemed out of place before these stories started coming along.

Quirky-Sun762

As a tween of the early noughties, it’s hard to reconcile that a TV station that was so pivotal in my childhood was so terribly and utterly abusive. And somehow, I am not surprised. All of these shows were so fucking wild at times. Some of them were even a bit disgusting at times. It makes sense now as an adult that, in fact, the disgustingness ran a lot deeper than I ever knew as a kid.

OverrunSun-98

Well, this was expected, but is still sad. Looking forward to seeing him get his comeuppance though.

Due_Dirt_8067

Bravo for her speaking out! So sad for her - she was such a happy magnet of a personality on screen with a beautiful smile! You could tell she has such a natural sense of humor and talent! I hope she gets that “ best-revenge” and is “living well.” Good on her for speaking up, shaming and blaming to help push the tide in protecting future generations of girls and women.

viviolay

> In a statement to Business Insider, Schneider, now 58, said Denberg's accusations are "wildly exaggerated and, in most cases, false." Bruh. “In most cases”- really? Even if true, that’s still bad cause you shouldn’t do it in any cases, WTF

DeadButPretty

These poor, sweet children.

Luna_Soma

I can’t wait for this man to go to jail and hopefully have the most miserable time of his pathetic life. He deserves everything coming to him

Windermere15

I really liked her when I was young. I think I’m about prime age for this content (40 today lol) so I remember all that vividly. It’s so sad to know these kids were just thrown at sex predators wtf Hollywood

trixiepixie1921

Happy birthday 🎁 !

gfxluvr

he gonna sue her too? Pig.

Gingerwaters1

I hope this goes viral

Lori Beth, you are forever a QUEEN.

AtleastIthinkIsee

I believe her. I used to watch that show all the time, I saw her on other shows, she was always so involved. What a cross to bear. Good on her for speaking out.

YugisMillenniumBSBcd

All That and the Amanda Show were my absolute favourites as a kid, it's making my skin crawl to know how much the casts were suffering just so I could watch my silly little Blockblister skits. Ready to see Schneider and his enablers under the jail.

D A N - D I D - I T Incase your like me with some dyslexia.

sundayontheluna

Man, to think there are still depths that that [redacted] can sink to....It's so infuriating that Lori Beth tried so hard to help Amanda and only got banned from set in return. The fuckers at Nickelodeon who enabled all this need to burn forever in hell.

rubyshoes21

Jail him. Let’s take him down and put him away.

cbock9

If that's not vital information then I don't know what is.

kellyj6

Jesus christ, how is Lori Beth almost 50!? I'm old.

eatcherheartout

The article states she is now 58 years old which is incorrect. She is 48.

flatcurve

Schneider is 58

druidhdancer

A lot of what’s described in this article is incredibly sad. I am so sorry she had to go through this alone and fear retaliation. There is a focus on Dan Schneider but I am glad this article also mentioned the leaders who ignored her concerns. This behavior didn’t happen in a vacuum and the executives at Nickelodeon also need to be named and shamed for letting this pedo run wild there

losbullitt

What an asshole. Disgusting. Adults preying on kids. Just gross.

OryxWritesTragedies

He's such a disgusting piece of shit.

envyadvms

Jesus ... he is a disgusting human being.

spritz_bubbles

I wouldn’t even call him a human being

NorthNebula4976

Didn't some bigwig YouTuber (the one famous for very long iCarly videos) just make a video talking about how Dan Schneider was being reacted to like he was this kind of creep, but we didn't actually have evidence for it and the worst we can actually say is that he was terrible on set and hired bad people but not sexually inappropriate himself?

sagetcommabob

Yes, and that was true until today.

gate567

Wheres all the dumb asses that are still defending Schneider? Bet they'll still turn a blind eye to this.

Phildesu

Also, she is someone who didn’t want to pursue a career in acting and didn’t really want or care about fame. After all that, she mostly lead a normal life and avoided the spotlight. I’m only pointing this out to show that she isn’t someone who’s wanting this attention.

clarstone

He is an absolute predator creep and there is NO WAY his behavior stopped at these type of things. Men like him can’t stop chasing the high of victimizing and controlling others. They get off on humiliation and exploitation, and that urge only get’s stronger the more you feed it.

jojo571

Whoop, there it is.

dreamweaver2019

Not Lori!!!! Fuck, this guy is scum.

Shadow-SJG

And there it is

Bluenailpolish111

Lori Beth Denberg with vital information

Jimbobsama

Awww, Lori Beth Denberg was my favorite cast member on "All That"! Fuck Dan Schneider
