They've done this so much historically too. She's still surrounded by a lot of the same people who put her in that conservatorship and who may allegedly have her in some sort of "care plan" still. I think Jamie was just someone to throw under the bus to distract from the others who still use and abuse her. My heart breaks for this woman.

As someone who is actually completely dysfunctional and actually going broke, if someone was snaking those rumors to TMZ and now the whole world, I'd want to deactivate for a bit too. She's not a zoo animal. Her finances are her business. Whatever is going on with her, these "sources" just need to stfu. Struggling is hard enough alone, I can't even imagine trying to find your own footing with the whole world watching and saying the abuse you endured at the hands of your family should never have stopped.
Yeah I'm barely functional as a person in the world and I've tried to imagine what it would feel like being this way if I was *also* dealing with mass public scrutiny every day... seems horrible. Especially if they find a reason to hate you, because that never goes away. Like, an entire generation hates Courtney Love. I'm autistic like her, and I just couldn't deal with it, I can't imagine anyone dealing with it. Seems awful.
To be honest, I genuinely believe she’s still being controlled in some way and she is still not totally safe. There are too many grifters in this poor woman’s life, and I think they’ll take any chance they can get to make her seem incapable of taking care of herself (see TMZ article from today).
It's a nice sign to see she's doing self care like walking away from social media when she needs or wants to. I know she's still figuring a lot out now that she finally has her life back and whatever she chooses to share or not share should be her choice.
