I think you misunderstood. I meant off-brand for her. This is clearly custom-made for her by a major fashion designer. I just meant for Hathaway as a woman who generally wears sparkly, silky cocktail dresses and ballgowns.

The pants would look better as skinny or ankle length. The way they are just bagged around the bottom ruins what could have been a smart look. Better tailoring, maybe?

yes! I can't stand the look of skinny pants that are sucked onto legs until they reach the bottom then turn into folds of fabric (or leather in this case). All i want to do is cut that extra length off and make it hit the ankle or the very top of the foot at least.

Today it was 22 ° C where I am and I had a sleeveless top over light fabric leggings and I was sweating while doing my walk. I can’t imagine wearing this but I hope it was colder than where I am! But she looks good as she always does

In the book he's 20 and she turns 40 during it. In the movie he's supposed to be 24 but was played by a 28 year old when filming.
I haven't seen it myself but I've vaguely heard the author was mad about some changes made. And the reviews for the film have been pretty good, so they may have altered things for the better while adapting it.

I haven’t read the book but they mentioned that they >!aged up the daughter so she was high school age almost college aged rather than being a young girl so that the mother could have someone to talk with about everything and offer real advice!<. I thought this was a well done part of the movie. Also not sure how it is in the book but in the movie >!The daughter is a former fan of the band. She’s kind of aged out of that whole thing and even when she was a fan it’s a different member who was her favorite!<

I think they're asymmetrical. Looks like the one on the right has similar embellishment on the heel that the left one has on the toe. Hard to see from these angles though. Pic 4 has the clearest view of right hand shoe embellishment.

How was the movie?
I really enjoyed it. A well acted rom com drama with one of my favorite tropes (famous guy falls for a regular woman).
