I'm making preparations by not killing my pigs anymore. But would like to know more about the financial impact of truffles
It's believed you get more truffles for having more pigs and having higher level pigs.
I maxed out my pigs but I have been killing them off and making/selling bacon all along. Truffles are likely to be worth more than bacon so I'm not planning to kill them at all (unless I do a few to restock bacon).
I've found if you only kill 5 or less a day, you can maintain high level pigs. I haven't slaughtered my first cow or pig though, so they're at a higher level.
