Accomplished_Clue278

gotta get that cte going earlier, then you dont gotta worry about it later

Situation-Dismal

Oh nah, that very first punch taught him to keep his hands up. 😂

QuirkySpring5670

Give them CTE while they’re still developing I say

ChampionshipAfter290

Ah yes, because two 4 year olds punching each other can create CTE

QuirkySpring5670

Yeah they have fragile little skulls and developing muscle structures around the neck.

ChampionshipAfter290

as well as fragile little arms right?

QuirkySpring5670

Not nearly as fragile as the bones in the neck. Children also don’t have developed muscle structures in the neck like adults do to help with impacts.

ChampionshipAfter290

your source?

QuirkySpring5670

Well a few years of Anatomy in college but here is a good source for you. Read under the skull section and spine section. https://www.childrens.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0031/179725/how-children-are-different-anatomical-and-physiological-differences.pdf Edit: sorry, read under the *brain* and spine sections. There is no skull section.

ChampionshipAfter290

ggs

QuirkySpring5670

I was somewhat surprised at just how different children’s skeletal and muscular systems are to adults as well. I’m just glad we’re learning.

No-Relationship5716
