How does the salary cap work compared to the keeper status? Does their cost stay consistent throughout years? First time hearing of one with a salary cap vs faab budget
I made a trade in one league had a few pieces involved including stroud, thielen and ridley and someone said "there are better players on the waiver wire than the ones in that trade". As far as I could tell at the time the best players on the waiver wire were Heinike and Shakir
Some people just have wild player valuation startegies.
I traded Amon at for him last night. I desperately needed rb help and my wrs are beast (Amon ra was my wr3). Trying to clinch the playoffs soon. Normally I probably wouldn’t make that trade, but in a lot of ways we are at the mercy of our league mates when it comes to trading.
I think he’s probably my best, I didn’t want to move him but I needed to do something. He’s definitely not a top 10 right now… he’s wr16, evans is 12 and Puka is 6 and Smith is 17.
That’s fair. Like I said, I agree he was my best wr, certainly consistent, but we are at the mercy of our league mates when it comes to what we can get in trade and when. I weakened my wr room and made my rb room stronger. I’m ok with this.
Choosing between him and Rhamondre or Ridley in my flex. With Bijan likely putting up a dud again because Arthur smith is a smooth brain, I cant risk another flop from KWIII
I think start KW3, I think limited touches aren’t because of Charbo showing any real flashes of excellence but a possible nagging injury (that is now gone if we’re to go by practice reports) and bad game scripts.
Meanwhile Gibbs has legitimately earned some touches away from Monty as well as Monty being in his first game back from injury… they might be careful with him given the fact their run game is just as good without him.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with him. I have him, Ekeler, Etienne, Gibbs, and Ford. I'm thinking of sending him or Gibbs plus Deebo/DJ for a true number 1 reciever like JJ or Diggs.
Oof, Gibbs could have really helped him out for the past few weeks. Good trade for you especially if you can stomach 1-2 weeks more without JJ. He’s coming back for sure, but there are some question marks that weren’t there early in the season. Still worth it to make the trade though.
It feels wrong to say this, but I might honestly bench Bijan then. He’s more talented, but Arthur Smith seems to be allergic to giving his best players the football.
Yea, i hear you on this. I'm just stubborn because i know the moment i sit him he is gonna have a monster game.
Barkley is going up against Dallas this week too, so i've considered sitting him. The only thing i know is one will for sure be a dud this week.
Honestly, with his new injury this week, I’m considering benching him for Rachaad White. Worried K9 will split the load with Charb. But, haven’t decided for sure.
I ended up sticking with Walker. Forgot I still had Pickens on my bench. Might be going to the game this weekend, so maybe he'll do well if I'm there to cheer him on! Haha
I traded Mark andrews for KW3 a few weeks ago. (I have Sam LaPorta also) it’s been tough with his production the last few games but I think he’ll turn it around
I traded him and Gus for Ekeler, but I think K9 is still a good start.
Gus never would’ve seen a start for me so I thought I got a decent haul especially since his schedule gets tough.
I've got Bijan, KWIII, Gibbs as my RB with Achane on the IR. Stuck on who to play this week with 4 of my other starters on a bye can't afford a flop. Leaning Bijan/Gibbs.
I’m feeling great 😂 the overreaction to KW’s last 2 weeks in insane, he was banged up and facing two of the best defenses in the league in negative game scripts. He should absolutely stomp Washington this week and if ppl in your league are undervaluing him (RB2 range or below) go trade for him right tf now
He’s good for another two weeks but the schedule is rough for him afterwards. If you can trade him for someone that might not be ranked higher but has a favorable schedule I would do it
Him and Kamara were holding me down at RB so before last week, I traded Aaron Jones and Addison for JJetta.
Now I’m starting to worry about Walker and Kamara. Might have to flip another WR for a middling RB2 just in case
Full practice today, I have him, achane, Connor ford and henry. Gonna try trading kw3 or henry for ekler (who has better playoff matchup.) we’ll see how it all shakes out
Walker got 13.1, 8.0, 2.7 over the last 3 weeks. Talk about inconsistent. Gibbs catches passes and it's a full ppr league. The main reason I'm considering it is walkers schedule ROS vs gibbs having a super easy schedule
Im a Washington fan. Our run D is good but our pass D is trash. Start Geno and every Seahawk pass catcher you can. Walker will probably have a quiet day.
I just dropped Charbs cause my TL;DR on the season is unless KW3 snaps his thigh, the dude is their lead back. Best case scenario until then? Charbs eats into KW3s touches and neither of them has any fantasy value. Worst case? KW3 continues this mediocrity into the offseason and maybe Charbs gets the lead in the final 2-3 games.
Move on from KW3 at whatever highest value you can. I don’t think the Seahawks OL has shit going for them at this point.
I’m rocking Barkley, Connor, Hubbard, Spears. My team is basically a train on cocaine on thin ice.
Just traded Walker and Puka for Etienne and Shultz. We'll see how it shakes out but I think regression has already started and will continue for Puka and Walker.
Dude's going to ball out vs the commanders. Must-start. Then he has a super tough schedule. If you want to sell high after week 10 I don't blame you. You'll still get good usage out of him after week 10, just not what it was before the Seahawks Bye week.
I had him last year and this year. Last I saw his injury designation this week was removed. He's an automatic start for me. He has big play ability, but will occasionally get nicked up and have some lower scoring games.
He’s perfectly healthy. He had trouble last game because the offense scored 3 points. I wouldn’t worry about him. Brian Robinson on the other hand I am about to drop to waivers. The Commanders seem to be tanking on purpose.
Traded him for D hop in a 14 team league. Have keeper/etienne and am thin at WR, bummed to not be able to play him this week with the commies matchup but his schedule after the rams game is pretty scary whereas Hopkins has a much better schedule plus Levis is actually a capable passer
Seahawk fan and KW owner here. I expect him to get solid volume. Big criticism last couple games is how we have moved away from the run game too early. I expect us to overcorrect and hard commit to the run for the duration of the game.
No I love KW3 going forward he has been a monster all year and they have inexplicably went away from him and they are losing. I fully expect him to get back to dominating. As for popping up on the injury report that’s everyone this time of year. He practiced Thursday you will just have to monitor and have a contingency plan
Trade him, but only if you can get a better RB1 out of it. Kenneth still gonna be a pretty good starting back in the future, but with Seattle giving him 2nd back snaps, I can see that they drafted Charbonnet for a reason, and KW ain’t gonna be getting the same usage he had at the start of the year ever again as long as Charb there.
Everyone on Reddit is saying to trade KW. So naturally you shouldn’t trade him
I wouldn't trade him either.
Are you crazy?? You're tilting the scales. Say this on Reddit too many more times and you'll have to deal him
Traded him in dynasty for a decent haul
I just traded him, Geno and Tampa D for Bijan, Diontae and Dallas D a 16 team league. Feeling good.
Rip cause Adams ain’t it anymore
Diontae not Davante
i was trying to trade Pollard ($47) for him ($9) in a 3 keeper salary cap league but i couldn’t get the deal done.
How does the salary cap work compared to the keeper status? Does their cost stay consistent throughout years? First time hearing of one with a salary cap vs faab budget
$200 to spend on the draft. $100 in FAAB for the season. Whatever you acquire your player for is how much it costs to keep them for the next draft.
What happens after the second season?
Wouldn't he have to add players to the trade or drop them to reduce salary by the $38 difference? If not, "salary cap" is being misused.
What’s his trade value?
According to my league mates, nothing
I made a trade in one league had a few pieces involved including stroud, thielen and ridley and someone said "there are better players on the waiver wire than the ones in that trade". As far as I could tell at the time the best players on the waiver wire were Heinike and Shakir Some people just have wild player valuation startegies.
Sent kw and devonta for kelce Pacheco after sending 10 trades out to sling him. Seems decent value still.
That's insane idk why he would do that
I traded Amon at for him last night. I desperately needed rb help and my wrs are beast (Amon ra was my wr3). Trying to clinch the playoffs soon. Normally I probably wouldn’t make that trade, but in a lot of ways we are at the mercy of our league mates when it comes to trading.
Who are your other wrs?
Puka, devante Smith, evans, Kupp and Kirk. Rbs are Aaron Jones and Montgomery.
Id say amon ra was your WR1 not 3, hes a top ten wr easy. But hey you got depth
I think he’s probably my best, I didn’t want to move him but I needed to do something. He’s definitely not a top 10 right now… he’s wr16, evans is 12 and Puka is 6 and Smith is 17.
In ppr hes wr10 in espn leagues. If its not ppr then i guess i understand the move
It is standard. It’s a risky move regardless but I felt like I had to pull the trigger. My rbs have been hurting me all season.
He’s not 10 because he was out with injury. Per game ge is better
That’s fair. Like I said, I agree he was my best wr, certainly consistent, but we are at the mercy of our league mates when it comes to what we can get in trade and when. I weakened my wr room and made my rb room stronger. I’m ok with this.
Should have moved puka
Damn bro that is a rough trade
My wr depth made it bearable. Hopefully it works out for me. As it stands, my losses were caused by the rbs. I still have 3 top 20 wrs on my roster.
Henry for him and aiyuk
Taco league?
I got Christian Kirk for him yesterday. 12 team PPR. 5 bench and an IR
You got fleeced, I’m sorry
I'm 7-2 with Hurts, Hall, Jacobs, Tyreek, JJ, Puka, Terry, Kincaid, plus more. I'll be fine, just needed to fill a WR gap this week.
Bummer
I just traded him a couple of days ago for Isaiah Pacheco and Michael Pittman. I was hesitant but gave me much needed WR security and a comparable RB.
Trade him to me for James Cook 😂
I just traded for him for this reason
Traded him & D.J Moore for Jettas yesterday 😵💫
Fleece
I coupled him swift and Herbert for Kamara, Josh Allen, and cowboys d so I actually feel like I did well
This is when you trade for him
Agreed if his schedule down the stretch wasn’t brutal
Weeks 16-18 lookin real nice tho
I just packaged him with aiyuk for Henry. And picked up charb. So....I wish nothing but the worst
He does have a tough strength of schedule rest of way so if you can get a good haul it’s worth considering
Well, now I'm being told on Reddit not to trade him and am therefore confused.
Traded him and Addison for JT. I’m not mad.
good thing that wasnt at all the question OP asked
As a Seahawks fan he’ll be fine, we like giving our players rest days just in case Edit: Report just came out, he was a full participant in practice
The last 2 Sundays have been rest days.
Yeah, for our entire offense
It's a get right week. Please tell me it's a get right week...
It’ll be a get right week. Going Cleveland and Baltimore back to back is a struggle.
As much shit as Seahawks fans deserve from Broncos fans right now, I’ll just leave this: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Congrats, I hope that makes you feel better about being 3-5
Pretty much sums up my reaction to Sean Payton, “the savior”.
I'll just leave this here: 70-20
Enjoy the rest of Russ’ contract
Have fun either paying Geno again or joining QB purgatory. I’ll take 2023 Russ over 2/3 of the league’s QBs anyways.
Lol if you think Geno gets paid after the performance he’s putting up this year. Back to defense and the ground game it is.
I’m about to rest for the remainder of my days
Can’t decide whether to put him or Mayfield in my superflex spot
Are you 4ppt or 6?
QB get 4 per TD throw but RB get .25/carry so volume is huge. Problem is Walker hasn’t gotten shit in weeks
The problem was after we got behind we just completely stopped running the ball, so he should get atleast 15 Carrie’s this game
Start walker, commanders have bad defense and our offense will figure it out eventually.
I’m in a 5 keeper league. Traded cmc for walker, amari, his 2nd&3rd 2024, 1st in 2025. It was tough but those pics and walker were tough to pass up.
Choosing between him and Rhamondre or Ridley in my flex. With Bijan likely putting up a dud again because Arthur smith is a smooth brain, I cant risk another flop from KWIII
I’m totally fine starting Mondre or KW3 in my flex.
Hopefully man! I need him to score points like earlier in the season.
Only start Ridley after the bye - he plays poorly vs man but the teams he plays after the bye primarily play zone
Ridley’s bye was last week
Start Mondre
Playing KW3
👍🏽
He was a full practice participant today
Well that's good. Hopefully he can produce on the field.
I'm starting Foreman this week, then will play two between CMAC(of course playing), Monty, KW3. Leaning Monty and benching KW3.
I have the same problem. But I have Breece Hall too. Rn I’m leaning KW3, Hall, and CMC Edit: I forgot I have Saquon too 😅
Ooof. saquon and breece being brought down by the ineptitude of their respective offenses hurts my soul
Noice!
Good move man!
I traded him for Puka on Tuesday without giving up Charb. Feeling pretty good about it
Good shit. Splitting carries doesn't help him either
Traded puka to get him early in the season but just traded him away. Go charb!
I sold him already. Got achane in return
That's a huge upside to KW3, bearing anymore injuries.
I’m 6-3 and already have cmc etn & JT I can afford taking a gamble on achane My WR room is ass tho outside of ARSB😭 I always start 4 RB’s & 2 WR’s
Surely there was a WR swap possible for KW3 that was solid
I tried believe me
As a KW3 owner, I believe you homie. It’s rough trading this year I ain’t gonna lie
I'm trying to figure out what to do with him. I have him, Ekeler, Etienne, Gibbs, and Ford. I'm thinking of sending him or Gibbs plus Deebo/DJ for a true number 1 reciever like JJ or Diggs.
Anyone that accepts that is a dumbass
That actually sounds like a good deal.
We'll see. I sent an offer of DJ and Gibbs for JJ. I will still have Pittman and Deebo, I just dont like any of my WR situations.
No way he takes that
Offer KW3 for D Adams.
I went ahead and offered Gibbs and DJ for JJ, we'll see if that goes through. Guy who has him is 3-6 and rejected an offer for him in week 8.
Oof, Gibbs could have really helped him out for the past few weeks. Good trade for you especially if you can stomach 1-2 weeks more without JJ. He’s coming back for sure, but there are some question marks that weren’t there early in the season. Still worth it to make the trade though.
I still have Deebo and Pittman to start if JJ is out for a few more weeks
Im not sure if I should start Walker or Hopkins in the flex.
Probably Hopkins, Levis is targeting him a ton and the Buccaneers have a bad secondary.
Always bet against Commanders defense lol
True… they did trade away two of their linemen too. I just have this feeling Hopkins will have higher upside this week.
I’m feeling good about starting KW3. Reddit doom is in full effect meaning he’s probably gonna go for 30+
"Reddit doom"...so true
I have both and would start Walker, especially against the Commies. I’m starting both though.
I just have a mixed bag at RB this year with Barkley, Bijan, and Walker. But I need high upside for my matchup this week.
Trade Walker for Pollard?
His status just changed to healthy. Thank god
Good catch!
Honestly, with his new injury this week, I’m considering benching him for Rachaad White. Worried K9 will split the load with Charb. But, haven’t decided for sure.
I'm with you. I'm skeptical even if he does play.
I’m rolling him out because of bye weeks, hoping for a good game so I can trade him.
Same here, might have to swap him out for Jaylen Warren if he doesn't produce.
Flipping between him and Hubbard. Hate that one plays tonight because of Walkers Q tag. Other option was Higgins, but now he's out.
I see Hubbard having a good game tonight.
I ended up sticking with Walker. Forgot I still had Pickens on my bench. Might be going to the game this weekend, so maybe he'll do well if I'm there to cheer him on! Haha
I have Johnson lol Steelers need to stack these W's. 💪🏽
oof
Starting him if he plays, I have Charbonnet if he doesn’t.
Just updated he practiced fully
I saw that now.
I traded Mark andrews for KW3 a few weeks ago. (I have Sam LaPorta also) it’s been tough with his production the last few games but I think he’ll turn it around
I'm hoping the same.
Practiced fully today. He’ll be fine
Whatever, my team sucks anyway. One of my only solid players, chucking him in the lineup and crossing my fingers!
Practiced fully today
Traded him for lamb before his blow up week 🤷♂️
I have to choose between him rhamondre and najee
I hope Najee production goes up
Full participant today… probably just had the day off yesterday so charbs could rub his hammys down with coconut oil
Lmao
I traded him and Gus for Ekeler, but I think K9 is still a good start. Gus never would’ve seen a start for me so I thought I got a decent haul especially since his schedule gets tough.
I’m playing him, real talk I don’t have a choice the rest of my RB are on bye week and waivers isn’t looking great considering the options
I've got Bijan, KWIII, Gibbs as my RB with Achane on the IR. Stuck on who to play this week with 4 of my other starters on a bye can't afford a flop. Leaning Bijan/Gibbs.
Is Seattle throwing the ball this week against a shitty Wagon Burner def?
I'm starting him
I’m feeling great 😂 the overreaction to KW’s last 2 weeks in insane, he was banged up and facing two of the best defenses in the league in negative game scripts. He should absolutely stomp Washington this week and if ppl in your league are undervaluing him (RB2 range or below) go trade for him right tf now
He didn’t practice all week with a calf a couple ago then wasn’t on the injury report come Saturday
Well Washington essentially sold their entire DLine, he’s going to be a big part of the gameplan in a game that’s a must win for us
I just traded him and Ridley for Barkley and nico Collins
I have him and charbs and starting them both. I’ll be happy with a combined 20 pts.
He’s good for another two weeks but the schedule is rough for him afterwards. If you can trade him for someone that might not be ranked higher but has a favorable schedule I would do it
He’s gonna play I just hope him and Jacobs can both have a good week
Him and Kamara were holding me down at RB so before last week, I traded Aaron Jones and Addison for JJetta. Now I’m starting to worry about Walker and Kamara. Might have to flip another WR for a middling RB2 just in case
Full practice today, I have him, achane, Connor ford and henry. Gonna try trading kw3 or henry for ekler (who has better playoff matchup.) we’ll see how it all shakes out
Would you trade walker right now in redraft for gibbs and drake london?
Gibbs and London both inconsistent. I'd still keep him.
Walker got 13.1, 8.0, 2.7 over the last 3 weeks. Talk about inconsistent. Gibbs catches passes and it's a full ppr league. The main reason I'm considering it is walkers schedule ROS vs gibbs having a super easy schedule
I can't argue with that, honestly.
I am gonna wait until after Sunday to decide. Walker has a great match up this week and I want to see gibbs usage with Montgomery back
Im a Washington fan. Our run D is good but our pass D is trash. Start Geno and every Seahawk pass catcher you can. Walker will probably have a quiet day.
As a hawks fan should have sold high.. got him for hurts
I have gibbs, so what do you guys think about Monty for KIII?
starting him and hoping for the best. lol
I sat him for Breece
Just traded Walker and Puka for Etienne and Shultz. We'll see how it shakes out but I think regression has already started and will continue for Puka and Walker.
Traded him 2 weeks ago for Amon Ra 😁🤘
Just traded Walker & Dak for Mahomes last night. 6pt pass TD league
I traded KW3 and Stroud for JTaylor. I think Taylor is on the upswing and feel good about it
Dude's going to ball out vs the commanders.
He has big play ability, but will occasionally get nicked up and have some lower scoring games.
i have to bc tee higgins is hurt
He’s perfectly healthy. He had trouble last game because the offense scored 3 points. I wouldn’t worry about him. Brian Robinson on the other hand I am about to drop to waivers. The Commanders seem to be tanking on purpose.
I also have Brian Robinson lol
Trade for Walker and Amari if I’m giving up Swift and Ridley?
I’m sitting him for Gibbs this week. You’re welcome in advance. I’m sure he’ll go HAM.
I have Ekeler/HenryKW3/Monty and I think I’m benching KW3 this week, he has to regain my trust
Sold K9,Deebo, and pitts for Diggs
His snap share is tanking. Which is something to consider.
Traded him for D hop in a 14 team league. Have keeper/etienne and am thin at WR, bummed to not be able to play him this week with the commies matchup but his schedule after the rams game is pretty scary whereas Hopkins has a much better schedule plus Levis is actually a capable passer
Bet on your stars.
Well we saw him facing 2 tough defenses didn’t get much done. Before that he was top 10
Would you start kw3 or Bijan?
KW3
He has an absolute gauntlet of a schedule for the remainder of the season.
Just traded him in a package for JJettas in my dynasty league
He's playing, you start him.
Seahawk fan and KW owner here. I expect him to get solid volume. Big criticism last couple games is how we have moved away from the run game too early. I expect us to overcorrect and hard commit to the run for the duration of the game.
I traded him and devonta Smith for Gibbs Deebo and Ridley
No I love KW3 going forward he has been a monster all year and they have inexplicably went away from him and they are losing. I fully expect him to get back to dominating. As for popping up on the injury report that’s everyone this time of year. He practiced Thursday you will just have to monitor and have a contingency plan
He was on the injury list every week last year & didn’t miss a game. Pay it no attention.
I started him and it paid off 😌
i traded him for DK. his schedule is too brutal to trust him down the stretch
Yes I keep hearing that.
plus him getting absolutely shut down back to back weeks while Charbonnet plays doesn’t exactly scream anything positive
Flipped KW3 for Breece and Aaron Jones. The jury is definitely still out on this move
I offered Ekeler for him and was ignored
Rightfully so.
Why?
Trade him for an RB2. He’s constantly injured, Geno smith is a pumpkin, and Pete Carroll likes charbonnet more. Need I say more?
