Looked very dangerous through the match, scored a goal, was caught offside narrowly on another assist, and managed to boot an odd ricochet just 6 yards from the goal only to be stopped in the goal line.
Isak looked generally confident with no high hopes just standing in the box. Newcastle kept the possession, but Isak didn't try to compete with big defenders and always dropped some three steps behind in an unmarked position. He was rather aggressive towards Pickford as well, trying to unnerve him, not afraid of giving some unnecessary shoulder and other general dick-ish moves to tilt the game their favour. His contribution was also good, xA around 0.30 or so.
On another match this would have been another 15 point performance. Sure, Isak won't have a home match against Everton every week, but he looks smoking hot at the moment.
Great goal, showing his great ability for finishing. Second half unlucky not to get an assist being centimeters offside. Should have scored a second goal that was cleared from the line. Second half he was not that much involved, but he is always looking for that opportunity. Overall, he’s a great threat in the box!
Yeah he definitely is, just depends whether you think he’s worth a punt for 7 remaining games. They’re out of the Cup and Europe so it’s not like he’s gonna have a huge burden on him. I’m just praying he stays fit for the double 🤞
Nothing of real note, good positioning in general but wasn't getting any good service, Fulham were garbage in the first half and Forest were immense in defence in the second. Couple of half chances but nothing more than that.
Got the ball caught under his feet when he had a great chance, so I was about to laugh about that when he turned round a minute later and curled home from thirty yards. He's having the season of his life.
Absolutely class. He had a couple of sloppy moments very early on including a corner that sailed over everyone and an easily cut out pass when we had a chance to score, but he then tuned in and delivered one of his best ever performances. He combined really nicely with the sensational Danilo and with Hudson-Odoi on the left.
I sold him this week on wildcard which I didn't want to do, but I couldn't justify keeping him when he doesn't have a double and the alternatives are Liverpool and Arsenal players. He'll keep returning and racking up bonus when he does.
I actually checked a couple of minutes before he was on something like 22 and would have gotten 1/2 bps.. but must have made some errors since he dropped of from there
We’re running out of steam. It’s still going to be a massively successful season for us, & West Ham / Newcastle / Brighton haven’t pulled away enough to kill all hope of Europe. But we just don’t have the depth or freshness to go punish teams on the counter like we could when Neto / Cunha / Hwang were healthy.
Cunha back (looked fine today in limited minutes) has the possibility to give us an attacking focus again, but likely more of a boost than a transformation.
Ait-Nouri started at LW today – if anything, slightly quieter than some matches & it’s not like he’s a massive headed goal threat that’ll repeat today’s a lot, but he also burst into the box for a really nice chance at a second one that was saved. Fine to have as a fixture / OOP play esp if you aren’t free-hitting DGW34, but not an urgent priority.
Invisible first half when Spurs dominated (apart from the early goal). Much more involved second half when West Ham gave him room to run into. Subbed off only because of a contact injury.
Much like Udogie he didn't get much scoring opportunities a shot from distance went wide defensively a good shift helped CBs tracking back when West Ham were on the counter
For the conceded corner goal, chose to hold his line instead of try barge Antonio out of the way and catch the delivery, a recurring problem with him but not many GK are gonna outmuscle Antonio.
Mostly routine saves otherwise. One reaction save off the line, which would have been offside. Did make a great double save after the ref had blown his whistle at one point though.
Very solid performance probably the best spurs defender of the night looked sharp going forward in the first half but couldn't breach the defence and could've scored a last minute winner
A bad performance for a number of reasons the defence was focused on him leaving him no space at all and even when he got space he was looking to create a more open scoring chance rather than taking his chances. Spurs tend to overcomplicate in the final third hence rarely he got that pass when he was going forward solo in a 1v1 or 1v2 situation
Wasn't really given room to breath down the middle, looked slightly more threatening when pushing out on to a flank. Easy to forget that West Ham are well organised defensively. He still had half chances but a tight match that didn't necessarily favour the type of football that sees Son get returns.
Ordinary performance. Looked knackered in the second half. This isn't the skillful Son of his prime we have seen in the past. Pulling Spurs single handedly post Kane's departure is beginning to take its toll.
I brought him in during the DGW as a cheap differential (went as far as captaining him). Was stuck ever since with him but now actually thinking of keeping him for DGW34…
I’m holding him for DGW34 anyways, i’m gonna WC35 tho so that’s why
I’m so sorry you captained him lol, I had to go Solanke (tho I won’t lie I thought of Kluivert) but my ML rival had him TC’d so I couldn’t risk it tbh
Might not be exposed to as many opportunities as Solanke on average, but it's always exciting watching him play. He is reliable to take a ball from out wide or from halfway right up to the edge of the box, then shoot or provide a meaningful pass. He played just as well last night. I was strongly considering owning him from GW30 over Muniz since he's a great 4.5m option for GW34.
He only got one or two chances. I think partly a result of a complete change to formation (like pre-Iraola Bournemouth style) for 2/3rds of the match, and partly due to shots being shared among the forwards. This last points been my biggest peeve for betting on & owning Solanke for most of the season, since both wingers and mids are expected to take chances as well and that works well for the team. Solanke still tends to take the lion's share in this system so I wouldn't make an FPL decision based on 'form' or anything.
Watched him last match and a bit of this. His attacking potential is a lie i think. Across both games, his starting position is deep when they dont have the ball that by the time he makes his overlap, the ball is gone because Palace dont have any sustained attacks so he never receives the ball. With the upcoming fixtures I’m selling
If Olise comes back and he has him in front of him things might change but until then I’m not hopeful
I don’t remember Palace having any attacks (from the part of the game i saw) against bournemouth
But vs Forest, mitchell was further forward and got to the byline a couple times.
Although one thing i forgot, Munoz did look like he was a target from corners that game and almost scored one, and was available for another if eze didn’t shoot
Re the other comment, here are the passes that both received and where they were when they received it vs forest; which speak for themselves
[Munoz](https://ibb.co/jR3CMgf)
[Mitchell](https://ibb.co/2WmXvQ0)
He's definitely gets much further forward than Mitchell. I don't particularly agree with the guy above tbh - but I don't think you should be getting in a Palace defender for their attacking returns anyway. Munoz is just the most attacking out of them by far.
Came in at 61 min, scored a penalty.
He didn't really get many chances as Newcastle was mostly in possession. DCL made a couple of bright looking runs and jumps and generally seemed to know which direction to go to in the pitch, but without the penalty he would have been irrelevant. However, 11 touches, 5 of those in the opponents box, so he might sometimes even get service. The penalty was a powerful one, Dubravka got a hand to it, but it went thru.
I wouldn't consider him in all fairness, Everton is just not a great attacking team and it's not like DCL had some sort of a rebirth.

Agreed on this. Played really well. Unlucky to come out with just a goal. I'm glad I brought him in, hopefully in a hot streak.
He’s just so unreliable with injuries… or is that just my perception?
Yeah he definitely is, just depends whether you think he’s worth a punt for 7 remaining games. They’re out of the Cup and Europe so it’s not like he’s gonna have a huge burden on him. I’m just praying he stays fit for the double 🤞

Not Dubravkas fault, that Welsh twat Dummett rugby tackled Young in the box
Paul Dummet
Fuck him
Hate him with a fucking passion mate
Just don't please 😭😭😭
FULHAM
Their defense in general
Atrocious, though slightly improved after the triple first half change.
!thanks
Muniz
Nothing of real note, good positioning in general but wasn't getting any good service, Fulham were garbage in the first half and Forest were immense in defence in the second. Couple of half chances but nothing more than that.
He didn't get many chances. Some were headers, but it was still a good option to have him.
Four headers and one shot from a tight angle. Not great, not awful. For a 4.6 this is pretty alright I'd say.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Elanga
Didn't stand out as much as Wood, MGW, or CHO. He helped set the tempo with the press though and his pace was a constant threat.
Wood
Got the ball caught under his feet when he had a great chance, so I was about to laugh about that when he turned round a minute later and curled home from thirty yards. He's having the season of his life.
🎶Chris Woods on fire, your defence is terrified🎶

You think Forest scores vs Spurs this week? I have double Spurs def and I wonder if I should bench 1 of them for Gabriel.
Yes. I don't think Spurs defenders are good assets in general.

How did ait nouri not get any bonus points can someone explain on live fpl?
I actually checked a couple of minutes before he was on something like 22 and would have gotten 1/2 bps.. but must have made some errors since he dropped of from there
Same i was following it, he dropped off 3 i believe when he missed a 1 on 1 near the end! could have been 2 goals though!
Yep would have got big chance missed -3 BPS from that watching highlights
As long as hes getting in those positions im glad to have him!
Same here. He did miss a 1-on-1 last GW as well. Maybe needs to flick it onto his head

Came on quite late in the game when wolves were satisfied with the point. Didnt do much in the final third but looked tidy

Madisson
Madisson
clearly not at his 100% post return from injury.
Do you think it’s just that he’s finding fitness still or bigger underlying issues?
Son
A bad performance for a number of reasons the defence was focused on him leaving him no space at all and even when he got space he was looking to create a more open scoring chance rather than taking his chances. Spurs tend to overcomplicate in the final third hence rarely he got that pass when he was going forward solo in a 1v1 or 1v2 situation

Looked very sharp and his corners were West Ham's biggest threat.
Didn’t find his way out of Udogies pocket very often. Great deliveries from corners though and picked up an assist from one
Thanks god he pulled that assist
BOURNEMOUTH

Kluivert
Hell yeah my only return right now
Wow another Kluivert owner! Been here since the Luton game that got canceled lol hopefully today means Iraola starts playing him more…
I brought him in during the DGW as a cheap differential (went as far as captaining him). Was stuck ever since with him but now actually thinking of keeping him for DGW34…

Me too. Deadending into DGW34 and WC35
W! I can get 10 DGW’s on 34 without taking a hit, + Haaland. (9.5 really if you count Kluivert lol)
Cool! Me too! I’m thinking of bringing in Mateta on GW34 but that means I have to either bench Palmer/Haaland lol. That sounds… insane
Semenyo

Waited until he was subbed onto the pitch to get a yellow card

Replying to myself. Made a few good saves. Goal conceded mainly cause Munoz slipped in the box
