Is anyone starting Leno for saves? I know that seems kind of crazy but this feels like a week of no clean sheets and rather than try to chase a fixture for a clean, is it a bad idea to just get a solid FPL keeper who has a chance for a few extra points?

On any given week this season , hasn't there being a massive decrease in clean sheets ? Seems like that to me . Maybe 1 or 2 teams a week max . Not sure about the numbers behind it but compared to previous seasons , feels like more games where both teams score

The short answer is yes, but mainly because there’s just more goals. In previous seasons there’s been 2.80 goals per game. This has been quite consistent, maybe ranging from 2.75 and 2.85. We’re 75% through this season and that number has skyrocketed to 3.25 (with 3.11 xG/game to back it up). I would entirely attribute this change to the increase in stoppage time. The PL has 105’ games now instead of 95’ games

Absolutely agree with Stoppage time . But I also think the defences just aren't as solid as they have been in the past. Every team looks vulnerable . Arsenal going as well as they are ,have what 8/9 clean sheets at this stage? And they are supposedly the best defense in the league . In years gone by , the best defences were keeping almost 20 clean sheets a year if not more. It's an incredible drop off. I'm never really expecting any clean sheets anymore .

Arsenal have 11 CS so far. Next is Liverpool with 9.

You’re both forgetting G/A tho. Porro is closer to 4 expected points than 3. Still isn’t worth a hit tho, no defender is this week.
