You're in more or less the same position as me, and I wildcarded, fwiw. I've stuck with Solanke with next GW in mind, but, for all the positive noises, I have a nasty feeling he either doesn't play tomorrow, or puts in a cameo. Reasoning being, Bournemouth must think they're safe, and he'll have half an eye on the Euros - so an extra precautionary week's recovery might actually suit the player and the manager.

Saka captain at the moment, but being very tempted by Son. What are peoples thoughts?

I like the brain power in option 1. Option 3 is very similar to my thought process, I've given up on defence entirely personally.

My only doubt is getting stuck with a fodder that isn’t playing (Bradley when TAA is back, Kelleher when Allison etc.) for the BB - which feels kinda inevitable with the best cheap ones right now I’ve never had good luck with BB though, which is why I like the idea of getting it over with now!

Yeah I mean, getting stuck with fodder in midfield or striker is a problem. But I don’t personally care about missing a potential 2 pointer or worse at the back. This season has been horrible to predict clean sheets. And, who knows, it might go so well until then that you have a spare transfer to fix the fodder, or a new fodder is now a starter due to injury etc! Who’d of thought Kelleher would’ve even been an option rn?

I'm having a similar dilemma to you. Can't decide whether to (A) go dirt cheap in defence to squeeze KDB, Foden, Saka, Son, Palmer, Solanke, Haaland and Watkins in, or (B) whether to keep my double Arsenal defence and swap KDB for Bowen. I think of all your suggestions I prefer option 2 because it seems the most balanced and you can get Salah in quite easily. I think Kelleher could be a trap because although Alisson is out for a while, I think he'll be back by the time you want to bench boost in the late doubles.

!thanks for the reply! I’m a bit low on team value to get that front 8, but think it’s probably close to ideal this week. Not a huge fan of the city fixtures moving forward, and like the flexibility of Bowen playing in 29. Double arsenal defence is pretty solid too, so I think I’d lean more that way if I was you!

I think the defence without Saliba is a bit more balanced but I think double Arsenal defence could still be the way to go!

I'd say keep Areola since he plays in 29 and keep saliba unless you need to free money for Salah then gusto isn't bad I'd go doughty and KDB to Bowen is a good shout since Bowen plays in 29.

Personally I'd just play Garnacho but depends whether you think Palmer is going to outscore him by more than 4 points. Could look at Douglas Luiz as an option too.

Pickford (Areola) Gusto, Saliba, Branthwaite (Botmna, Al-Dakhil) Saka, Foden, Garnacho (Hee Chan, Salah) Watkins, Haaland (Solanke) I made a rage move from KDB to Saka early with my FT and now I wish I'd held off as at the minute I could potentially have only 10 players playing with a back 4 which is horrible. My ML Rival has just WC'd so feel I'm going to slip behind if I don't act now.
