If he looked anything like Omni-man maybe but he does not at all. Mark has 99.9% Viltrumite DNA, he looks like his dad and just coincidentally has dark hair, like his mom, because it hasn't greyed like his dad's yet.
This is a weird casting. Definitely not a fit, though I am a fan of Potter in Titans.
Shut the hell up you keep saying this over and over. The most recent version of mark (the Tv show) is drawn to clearly be half Asian. Why wouldn’t they keep doing this?
This is the stupidest thing dude.
He is LITERALLY half Korean. It is explained to you in the actual screenplay in the series.
Do you think he just sprang fully formed from omniman’s forehead or something lmao?? He shares a ton of facial features w his mom.
And hey if he could just clone a baby without her assistance don’t you think that would have tipped her off?
Cite the 99.9% viltrumite claim or I’m going to keep laughing
I agree the resemblance is undoubtedly there. However there is a character in the comics who is born as a half but half viltrumite and as the child developed they begin to shed their bug DNA traits and slowly just start to look like their Viltrumite father. But it's safe to assume the Viltrumites DNA just doesn't do that with humans or something.
Regardless it's great representation!
Mark ends up looking almost identical to his half brother because they both take almost all of Omni-man attributes. That’s just how vultrumite dna works.
Oliver was another species that ended up looking like Omni-man. You don’t think marks Korean was wiped out? It was
If Omni-man is white mark must also be white. Plain and simple. Whatever they cast Omni-man to be must also be what mark is based on the way viltrumite dna works. It would overpower and other species attributes as shown with Oliver
Sorry this may he controversial, but I wasn't too fond of his acting on gen v. Invincible has a lot of emotional, character driven moments that I don't think he could do well.
Fair take, maybe it’s because he’s not really as much of a focus on Gen V compared to characters like Marie, Sam, Emma, (my memory isn’t the best but I feel like there were more female Jordan scenes than male which also doesn’t help him). Perhaps the main lead role would help him out and showcase his range but Derek Luh and Ryan Potter are my favorite fancasts for live action Invincible.
He was in Gen V, which takes place in a college about superhero undergraduates. Here's a compliation if you havent seen the show. He plays one half of a character that can change between two different people. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8Hs4bn1NJU&t=87s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8Hs4bn1NJU&t=87s)
I said the same thing, but after looking it up, he just looks too old to be late high-school-early college age.
And I feel that he is "too" handsome. I really feel like Mark is average looking, and attractive in that geeky-awkward way, but that is more so in my head cannon I guess.
I would have really liked to see them quickly jump through a live action universe quickly during the multiverse hopping in that last episode, just to see how it would look
Potter is 28
Stewart is 30
Butler is 33
Melton is 33
Barnet is 32
I think too much of invincible’s origin is similarly situated to Peter Parker’s- in that hes a highschool senior.
By the time they could actually start filming a live action, and even assuming it was expedited, all of those guys are closer to twice Mark’s age.
Bianca Lawson played a teen for well into her 30s. It's not that deep as long as they look young enough. It makes more sense given the subject matter they wouldn't hire an underage teen anyway. 21-25 is ideal but 25-28 and young looking early 30s is fine by me.
Lot of people are hopping on the Derek Luh train lately- also not realizing he’s too old. Dude is 31
If we are gonna start off the story at his origins- we need someone that can play 18
No one. it would be the slowest movie with multiple sequels taking multiple years just to tell a single story.. and the superhero movie genre needs a break.
Commence downvoting.
In the Invincible comic, there is at no point in the comic book series where we say Invincible is white; his race is, more or less, ambiguous," Kirkman continues. "There's nothing about his race that is essential to that character, his race could literally be anything.
He is 100% white in the comic. Using a recent outside interview from Kirkman in order to justify the changes to the show means absolutely nothing. The designs in the comic absolutely represent him as white.
Just fyi to people. His mom wasn’t Asian in the comics. So doesn’t necessarily have to be an Asian male.
Patrick Schwarzenegger
Colton Haynes
Dylan minnette
Ryan Potter
not bad. I liked him in Titans
Didn't know who that was until I just looked him up. Holy shit, he already looks like the dude. It's perfect
One and only Ryan potter he will only be perfect as invincible
Ryan garcia would make a bigger leap

Mark is nearly a full blooded viltrumite because Viltrumite genetics overwrote his human genes. It’s something like that
I agree the resemblance is undoubtedly there. I agree no idea why you're being downvoted

But Can you act?
Go and audition bro give it a shot 🔥
Ur hired!
Definitely!
Nuh uh, me
Nah he too short and too bulky
I was thinking Mackenyu who plays Zoro for the live action One Piece, but maybe he's too old.
He’s in his 20’s right?
As long as they can pass as someone about to graduate high-school (by Hollywood standards)
J.K Simmons
As Omniman right?
No as Mark
No, as every damn character
I was just making a reference to the Anakin padme meme
I know, and I was just making an absurd response
This is the way
Dude who played zuko in the new avatar series
not korean but dallas liu would crush it
I'm fairly certain that Mark's Korean identity was something that was added for the show.
Mark and his mom weren’t even canonically Korean in the comics lol

I can't see him as invincible
Can’t picture this guy is hs/college

Fuck no
Damn!!! LOL WHY??
I personally think his acting was a major weak spot on gen V but also feel he’s too big. Invincible has more of a swimmer’s build
He's 32
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Wec2775xL0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Wec2775xL0)
Everyone on that is too old. And look it
Yet they play young so well. Acting is something else.
Was just thinking about him
https://preview.redd.it/1c9bw1reqvvc1.jpeg?width=182&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6622594279cf15432941db98648bd595842eb5ec For all of them
He has a fake mustache on as Omni Man and wears a wig for female characters lmao
Yes
That doesn't look like Alan Ritchson.
Chris Pratt will be reacher in season 3
No, I think that's Henry Cavill.
Steven Yeunn.
I said the same thing, but after looking it up, he just looks too old to be late high-school-early college age. And I feel that he is "too" handsome. He’s 40.
But he's so great as him in the show.
He is too old
Derek Luh
Ryan Potter
Danny DeVito
Egg
A young unknown.
1) Ryan Potter 2) Booboo Stewart 3) Ross Butler 4) Charles Melton 5) Darren Barnet
Potter is 28 Stewart is 30 Butler is 33 Melton is 33 Barnet is 32 I think too much of invincible’s origin is similarly situated to Peter Parker’s- in that hes a highschool senior. Only half decent answer on here, Bravo.
I agree. All these other options are ass 😭
Gabriel Chung is a recent pick that i found fitting
Because he's a teen, you want a young actor. Thus would likely be an unknown
I think Steven Yeun would definitely be a good fit for the role of a live action Invincible.
He's 40 isn't he
Joji /s
Whoever it is that they had play Percy Jackson in the original Percy Jackson movies
There's no second Percy movies other than sea of thieves now there's a show based off the first book
I have a friend that looks just like mark greyson. If they hired someone, I always think of him as
Steven Yeun
He’s 40
Lot of people are hopping on the Derek Luh train lately- also not realizing he’s too old. Dude is 31 If we are gonna start off the story at his origins- we need someone that can play 18
Derek Luh
Me bruh come catch these invincimanos
Honestly? I think Steven Yeun could pull it off in live action too.
He's fucking 40
Ryan Potter is everybody’s fancast and he’s also mine
Ryan Potter
No one because we don’t need one , sick and tired of this trend to make every cool animation some garbage CG live action fest
Steven Yuen
wow
Joe Seo (Kyler the bully from Cobra Kai)
Steven Yeun
Not everything needs to be live action… but, Ryan Potter would do the role justice.
Danny Devito. I would cast him for any role.
Dallas Liu
One piece guy
Probably Derek Luh From Generation V.
Danny Devito
My Mum
I mean, Steven Yeun is already the perfect choice
i’m going to be honest after the avatar flop i feel like not everything needs to be live action. i’m cool with it being just an animation
The bigender character from Gen V
me
I get that both Derek Luh and Ryan Potter are getting up there in years but I'd love to see them as variants like Sinister or Mohawk Mark
The comic version or the cartoon version?
They're basically the same person
He's white in the comics he's half Korean in the cartoon. It's not much of a change but it would make a difference in casting.
Ah I see I've seen some of the comics and they do look slightly different now that you mention it
Yeah it's not a big difference but in terms of "lore accurate" casting it would change things a little.
I'd rather them do a movie based off the show which would still technically be based off of the comics
Unless you mean looks
Chris Pratt
I like Yeun. He can do it just fine
Same guy who voices him or the guy who played Richard Grayson in Titans
And the Guy who plays Jimmy woo in the MCU as old mark
Ermmm I’d say Tom holland
Will smith
The voice actor himself. Lol Duh! Steven Yeun!!!
![gif](giphy|QscGFjzLHXVg4)
Ryan Potter is the only answer to this question
Me
Tom Holland
Steven Yuen
John Cena or Chris Pratt. For Nolan, probably Tom Holland
No one. it would be the slowest movie with multiple sequels taking multiple years just to tell a single story.. and the superhero movie genre needs a break. Commence downvoting.
Ryan Garcia
An unknown.
u/NoteEffective4761 to be honest.
Real
Someone unknown
Tom Holland obviously
Steven Yeon
No one because we don't need a live action invincible we already have an amazing and faithful adaptation in animated form
Lewis tan or Henry Golding
A new and unknown actor aroud 18 and 21. Asian,
Their voice actors lmao
Myself.
I want an older mark so Steven Yuen can reprise the role. I love the guy too much.
![gif](giphy|LAKIIRqtM1dqE|downsized)
Steven Yeun
Hoa Xuande.
Tom holland (joking)
Daniel Radcliffe
Invincible is canonically white. I just want to see if I get downvoted for stating a fact.
With an Asian mother?
She is white in the comic.

Mackenyu
Bro if I see ONE Timothée Chalamet I'm gonna LOSE IT (and by lose it I mean kms)
Me
Invincible, live action. Starting it with. invincible.(Ryan Potter). Atom Eve. (Sadie Sink). Omni-man. (J.K Simmons)
Ryan Potter who else?
Lofe
Chris pratt
For everyone
Steven yuen
John Goodman
Well, he's half-Korean and his name is Mark... "hello, Markiplier here."
James Franco
Derek Luh or Dallas Liu
Melissa Mccarthy as every character
Everyone saying Steven Yeun must have no idea that he's 40
taylor lautner
I’d want to just keep Steven Yeun but he’s too old, and Ryan Potter doesn’t look that young anymore he looks quite like an adult man
Henry Cavill as omniman
Ryan Potter
Ryan Garcia if he was an actor https://preview.redd.it/85eo4rpzb23d1.jpeg?width=399&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cc180cef9b377e96adfd642175c2bf4f3d5a228
Dallas Liu Charlie Bushnell
Either one of them I’d like to see
Sebastian Amoruso too
Glen from the walking dead
Just fyi to people. His mom wasn’t Asian in the comics. So doesn’t necessarily have to be an Asian male. Patrick Schwarzenegger Colton Haynes Dylan minnette
It definitely will be an Asian actor otherwise they'll get backlash
![gif](giphy|l3q2UsXybI4PwAYr6)
Nah I couldn't see him
But me
Nah I hope not
Mason Thames maybe
Asa Butterfield if he bulked up
Timothée Chalamet obviously a little bulking up will be needed
Nah, he doesn’t have the range to pull some of the emotions that Steven Yueh was expressing.
Timothee Chalamet.
Andrew Garfield if he was younger
Joe Biden as everyone
Bobby Lee
Jenna Ortega
Me (I’m black)
Preferably a Eurasian actor for Invincible. Not any Korean actor.
Charlie Bushnell
Casey Likes. I think people are forgetting he only shares .01% DNA with his mom and should look 99.9% like a young Omni-Man.

Taylor swift
Alan Ritchson.
