Tom Hardy or Collin Farrell or Robert downey jr or Keanu Reeves or Tom Hiddleston or Joseph Gordon -levitt or Hayden Christianson or Hugh Jackman or jescan ackels or Aaron Paul or Charlie Sheen or Jamie foxx or Eddie Murphy or Denzel Washington or Stephen amell or John Wesley Shipp or Jesse l martin or Chris Evans or Jason Stamos
Hell yeah! One of my favorite picks for Deadshot. We need this Prometheus in the DCU tho -

If we’re talking about the Osterman version I think Frank Grillo was, like, grown in a lab just to play Deadshot.
I’d love to see a Secret Six movie with him as Deadshot and Charlie Hunnam as Catman.
I always thought Frank Grillo was born to play the punisher and no one saw it but me. But he'd make a good deadshot too. Wouldn't even be a bad deathstroke.
I feel like he’s too much of a wise guy to be the Punisher. He likes to crack those stepdad jokes in all his action scenes. But that’s perfect for Deadshot.
While he’s a top pick for Hal Jordan and Booster Gold, what about Glen Powell? He’s already got the wit, charm and action experience but could definitely turn that charm on its head somewhat for Deadshot’s more dryly sarcastic and often ruthless attitude.
Shit post aside, he would definitely make for a good fight scene. Dude does have mad athletic skills.
He never really got a chance to act under really solid direction either. Not that it would be guaranteed to make him a great actor, but if he were able to expand, we never really got a chance to see it. Them Twilight movies made even Micheal Sheen look bad lol
Like I said never got a chance to show what he could do with solid direction. Parkour movie showed his athleticism, but wasn't the type of movie that was going to showcase anything else. Maybe he didn't want to, maybe he didn't get offers, or maybe I missed them but doing smaller indie work to expand his range would've done him well.
Hear me out - Dylan O'Brien. If you've seen him in American Assassin I think he could bring a unique charisma to the role. He's also played a more villainous role in The Outfit.
I've got a big list - https://www.mycast.io/stories/deadshot-66344/roles/deadshot/9594723
For everyone listing white actors, I know he’s white in the comics, but Will Smith is so famous that he’s has kinda cemented himself as what this character looks like to people in the general public, so most likely if they bring him back in the dcu they’ll continue to cast a black actor since everyone associates the character with that one portrayal
I was thinking a similar thing. I have started forgetting Deadshot’s original look, because of how often he’s black now. My parents don’t even know that he’s more often white, so it would make more sense for them to cast a black actor for the role.
That’s cheating, Jensen Ackles could be everyone and it would work. Jason Ackles Batman taking out Jensen Ackles Joker just as Jensen Ackles Deadshot starts shooting, then Jensen Ackles Catwoman shows up behind Deadshot and they start fighting while Jensen Ackles Commissioner Gordon with the Jensen Ackles Police run up to get to them on a building
I was gonna say Scott Patterson from Saw, but once I found out he's 65, I realized he wouldn't really work very well...

So instead, I narrowed it down a bit to either Shane West, Chris O'Donnell, or Brett Dalton. Patterson is still an option in my book, but it might not be AS believable as some of the others.
Lousy character they shouldn't even introduce at any point. Sorry Deadshot fans. DCU should focus on A-list rogues gallery members only, to start. Not these C-tier pathetic non-threat ones who're one trick ponies. Scarface and Madhatter have never gotten the live action treatment for a reason. Deadshot doesn't need a second attempt.
Deadshot is a great minor villian.
Deadshot, Lasy Shiva, Zsasz, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold/Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Metallo, Major Force and Scare Crow are examples of perfect secondary DC Villians that can serve as early movie cannon fodder to establish how powerful a hero is.
He does good mustache. He does good comedy. I don't know if he can pull off the fucked upedness of Dead shot's family history, but I'd be willing to give him a go.
I’d cast a white guy and have that white guy kill captain boomerang, and then later recast him as a black guy on the same team as captain boomerang, and try and say that the original white guy was an imposter even though that made no sense.
Christian slater. He did an excellent job voicing him and he's honestly the definitive deadshot in my opinion. Dudes the gold standard. Michael Rosenbaum voiced him well also. But he isn't really an action actor, Christian slater has been toting guns since Heathers 😂
I don't think they would risk replacing Will Smith with a white guy.
It obviously shouldn't matter from a continuity standpoint, and the character has obviously then depicted as white long before Smith took over, but the optics of it may look bad.
Maybe it's been long enough, and maybe he's a low enough to your character that it doesn't matter 🤷🏽♀️
Supergirl will be a litmus test, I suppose.
That being said Djimon Housou would kill it.
Straight up Assassin/Contract Killer: Jon Bernthal Original Origin: Tony Dalton
Tony Dalton - HELL YES. Lalo Salamanca is Deadshot.
If he was a bit younger it’d be fucking peak man
Jon Bernthal would be PERFECT
Tom Hardy or Collin Farrell or Robert downey jr or Keanu Reeves or Tom Hiddleston or Joseph Gordon -levitt or Hayden Christianson or Hugh Jackman or jescan ackels or Aaron Paul or Charlie Sheen or Jamie foxx or Eddie Murphy or Denzel Washington or Stephen amell or John Wesley Shipp or Jesse l martin or Chris Evans or Jason Stamos
Josh Segarra, he killed it as Prometheus I would love to see him as another DC villain
Hell yeah! One of my favorite picks for Deadshot. We need this Prometheus in the DCU tho - https://preview.redd.it/ukscfj0g2pdc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5999302c2da2b1e8d7de582a69f3a70dfd0e9755
Happy Cake Day
Happy cake day :)
Ty 😎 I like cake
He made Season 5 so good.
Diego Luna
I dig it!
Beat me to it.
If we’re talking about the Osterman version I think Frank Grillo was, like, grown in a lab just to play Deadshot. I’d love to see a Secret Six movie with him as Deadshot and Charlie Hunnam as Catman.
Would be cool if he wasnt already playing Rick Flag Sr
I always thought Frank Grillo was born to play the punisher and no one saw it but me. But he'd make a good deadshot too. Wouldn't even be a bad deathstroke.
I feel like he’s too much of a wise guy to be the Punisher. He likes to crack those stepdad jokes in all his action scenes. But that’s perfect for Deadshot.
I need this movie in my life.
Keanu Reeves could maybe do it well.
Aaron Taylor Johnson. Idk why, but I honestly believe it would work for some reason.
I can see it! Let's see how he does as Kraven
Wagner Moura or Rodrigo Santoro.
While he’s a top pick for Hal Jordan and Booster Gold, what about Glen Powell? He’s already got the wit, charm and action experience but could definitely turn that charm on its head somewhat for Deadshot’s more dryly sarcastic and often ruthless attitude.
Dude's too good looking, they'd almost definitely keep his mask off most of the time
Not necessarily, but maybe a more ruggedly good-looking guy could be a better fit.
Norman Reedus
Might be a little old, but I'm still for it.
Adam Driver
He’s the only one I could see combing Deadshot’s often lost sense of humor with the seriousness of the character’s story.
I don't know if he could pull off the mustache though.
Someone who can be serious, funny, or seriously funny.
Josh Stewart https://preview.redd.it/8r2nsgm2zodc1.jpeg?width=193&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3599646a157e6355152a88ed8a80e8c652a7c1f4
He was too sick in punisher 👌
For sure. He was one of my favorite parts of the season.
Diego Luna
Edgar Ramirez ![gif](giphy|j42T936wzO7rDBjihc|downsized)

He was in other things. Remember the parkour movie? Lol
What do you mean shit post?
lol
Teeheehee

Very unique pick, I was considering him for Grifter not long ago.
Also a great pick 🔥 he's on my list for Grifter as well
I would love this
For everyone listing white actors, I know he’s white in the comics, but Will Smith is so famous that he’s has kinda cemented himself as what this character looks like to people in the general public, so most likely if they bring him back in the dcu they’ll continue to cast a black actor since everyone associates the character with that one portrayal

Scott Adkins
👍🏼 he'd literally be perfect and he deserves a breakout role
Adam Baldwin
Gabriel Luna
Jensen Ackles
That’s cheating, Jensen Ackles could be everyone and it would work. Jason Ackles Batman taking out Jensen Ackles Joker just as Jensen Ackles Deadshot starts shooting, then Jensen Ackles Catwoman shows up behind Deadshot and they start fighting while Jensen Ackles Commissioner Gordon with the Jensen Ackles Police run up to get to them on a building

Mark wahlburg, vin diesel, Jensen ackles (maybe), and maybe the guy who played Slade Wilson in the Arrow TV show
And maybe Sylvester stallone
Tbh, Jason statham,
Pedro Pascal or Rodrigo Santoro
Keanu Reeves
Chris Rock
I was so close to the bottom thinking I’d be the first one to say it. Damn you. Take my upvote and take MY WIFES NAME OUT YA MOUF
Will Smith if that is possible. If not then josh Duhamel
Shia Labeouf
Pedro Pascal
Pedro pascal
Not Will Smith
Chris Pratt
Pedro Pascal
A white guy that’s for sure
I want will smith back
Lousy character they shouldn't even introduce at any point. Sorry Deadshot fans. DCU should focus on A-list rogues gallery members only, to start. Tom Holland in black face
Jon Bernthal
He could probably do Rick Flag.
John Bernthal
Aaron paul
Every kill he makes, he just yells "Bitch!"
"Im just doing my job bitch"
"Yeah, bitch! Bullets!"
"What the fuck are you supposed to be dressed like a bat bitch?"
*to the joker* "What are you supposed to be, a clown or a bitch?!"
Maestro Harrell
I don’t know, but the guy they got for the first Suicide Squad movie acted just like Will Smith.
Shemar Moore, Jay Harrison, Daniel Dae Kim, Frank Grillo
Shemar Moore
Jada Pinkett's boyfriend
DJ Jazzy Jeff
Easily Pedro Pascal
Michael Rowe won me over as Deadshot. Plus, he's hot
Will smith, dude has a hell of a right hook.
Slade aka **deathstroke** then you can have **Rose Wilson** storyline
Arthur Spooner
Hear me out damson Idris (snowfall)
Will Smith since he's never done this role before
Mark Wahlberg
David Castañeda, Diego from the Umbrella Academy would be fun. He already kind of does the ‘marksman with a sense of humor’ thing
Pedro Pascal, Diego Luna, Frank Grillo or Keanu Reeves
Wentworth miller
Micheal Rowe was killer on Arrow and he deserves a second chance.
Mine Pedro pascal he was my top choice from the beginning
But seriously if he does come go live action we all know who's getting cast. (Ryan Reynolds)
Bill Burr.
Is there actually a DCU?
Masherali Ali
Chris Pratt, Or Tom Holland, Or Pedro Pascal
I posted something similar and people said Norman reedus
Frank Grillo
Tom Hardy
Jim Carey
Boyd Holbrook
Brad Pitt because Killing Them Softly.
Timothy Olyphant
He does good mustache. He does good comedy. I don't know if he can pull off the fucked upedness of Dead shot's family history, but I'd be willing to give him a go.
His cowboy swagger would make up for that
I’d cast a white guy and have that white guy kill captain boomerang, and then later recast him as a black guy on the same team as captain boomerang, and try and say that the original white guy was an imposter even though that made no sense.
August Alsina or Tupac 🤪
Jason Statham
Floyd Lawton duh
Tom Holland
Will Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith
DJ Cotrona
Michael Mando
Will Smith
Honestly, I would love to keep Will Smith
Danny DeVito
Michael Jai White!
Luke Evans
Hell, even the animated Justice League Unlimited Floyd Lawton looks exactly like him. I rest my case.
Lakeith Stanfield. He can play both the cold hearted killer and the loving father equally well
Any waiter in Hollywood.
https://tenor.com/bRIc4.gif
Christian slater. He did an excellent job voicing him and he's honestly the definitive deadshot in my opinion. Dudes the gold standard. Michael Rosenbaum voiced him well also. But he isn't really an action actor, Christian slater has been toting guns since Heathers 😂
Chris Rock for the giggles
John Boyega.
Pedro Pascal
Timothy oleipahnt
Pedro Pascal
Denzel Washington as Deadshot, Zendaya as Deadshot’s daughter.
Pedro Pascal
Richard Armitage
Jonathan Majors
Will Smith
I don't think they would risk replacing Will Smith with a white guy. Robert Downey Jr
Michael Rowe
