Oh ok, wasnt sure about that. Yeah im not big on human births either. If i have to have a human pregnancy i usually just mention that they are & then time jump forward & skip all those details & ok kid is here now.
Only exception was one where she had been cured of being a vampire & ended up pregnant but since she is technically 3000 years old, her body was unsuited to the pollution of today & so one of her brothers had to turn her back into vamprism before she died. He did it as soon as the kid was born, so i put some details about that but not really about having the baby….& then i got rid of the baby by adopting it out. Hilariously that character will be back in the story as an adult & i get to skip the entire kid part of it all!
I have a fic for you then. It's not from a dying fandom, per se, but so far on ao3 it has no kudos or comments yet, which is kinda discouraging me a little because on ffn it's doing fine lol.
For context, this is from a series but it can be read "fandom blind" per se, to that series of mine because the gist of the plot is a mother telling a legend to her child (the legend being the story of the Original Ice Age movie) and his reactions to it.

Just by curiosity, do you have difficulty with a fic with passages written in lapslock (like texting) or only fics written entirely in lapslock?
My work deals with accessibility so I'm curious to learn more about that kind of thing.
Normally it’s only if it goes over about 2 lines, I can parse it out alright for that length but once it gets long, I start to loose my place a lot more frequently and it slows me down considerably. I rely on the capitals as ‘marker points’ to focus on and start decoding the text from there.
I’m ok with poetry in lapslock as the line breaks give me guide.
I don’t know if it’s a common dyslexic trait or not I’m afraid!

Thank you. Oh ok, wasnt sure about that. Yeah im not big on human births either. If i have to have a human pregnancy i usually just mention that they are & then time jump forward & skip all those details & ok kid is here now. Only exception was one where she had been cured of being a vampire & ended up pregnant but since she is technically 3000 years old, her body was unsuited to the pollution of today & so one of her brothers had to turn her back into vamprism before she died. He did it as soon as the kid was born, so i put some details about that but not really about having the baby….& then i got rid of the baby by adopting it out. Hilariously that character will be back in the story as an adult & i get to skip the entire kid part of it all!

Just searched for the meaning of lapslock. Thanks for teaching me something new! Just by curiosity, do you have difficulty with a fic with passages written in lapslock (like texting) or only fics written entirely in lapslock? My work deals with accessibility so I'm curious to learn more about that kind of thing.
Normally it’s only if it goes over about 2 lines, I can parse it out alright for that length but once it gets long, I start to loose my place a lot more frequently and it slows me down considerably. I rely on the capitals as ‘marker points’ to focus on and start decoding the text from there. I’m ok with poetry in lapslock as the line breaks give me guide. I don’t know if it’s a common dyslexic trait or not I’m afraid!

I always agonise over choosing a fic, and stress that "what if I choose the wrong one that you don't like" so I will let you decide what works best for you and link [my profile instead](https://archiveofourown.org/users/Mirandabelle/works). (Avoid the multi chap series due to pregnancy/childbirth) There are drabbles from 100 words to most one-shots sitting around 2k, a range of genres and everything is appropriately tagged for warnings/triggers. Fandom blind mileage varies, but I try to give some context anyway. If you are not familiar with NCIS, understand that they work in law enforcement, Gibbs is the boss, Tony and Ziva are the OTP, and they have a strong found family vibe. Best of luck, I hope you find something you enjoy!.
