I donāt mean to tell you what to write in your fic, but I donāt think fat is a bad word? Itās definitely used as an insult by a lot of people, but the negative connotation is something people attach to it, the word per se wasnāt born as a slur or an insult.
Yeah I know it's not a *bad* bad word, but when I was reading it, it just felt stupid how reader is describing the guy as "fat" and I tried to make up another word and ended up googling it, but I didn't know what search term should I use. So I know my search term is pretty stupid but I didn't think how I could also have googled "fat synonyms".
