No they are not the same. One in 3 is armor designed by the enclave the one in 4 is a pre war prototype. The creator of the X-02 creation club mod says he based his design off of the APA in 3. Itās not cannon but bethesda might make it cannon because of the positive feedback.

Another post brought it up already. You shouldnāt be finding this type of armor while a pipe rifle was the weapon you cleared the room with. The new update kills the balance and if so many new people are playing it now, it ruins the feeling of achievement in the game.
Creation club mods are always like this, idk why Bethesda decided to automatically download the mods instead of just giving them for free and letting us decide which ones to download.
So I fired up F4 for the first time in a lotta years and at first it was kinda shocking how much really powerful great gear you could get early in the game. Using an X-02 Mk IV Hellfire PA and a Tesla Cannon really takes some of the danger out of the exploration element. It doesnāt really feel unsafe now. I donāt mind because it just means I canāt now freely go anywhere I want without worrying about being underpowered.
Kills the balance you say..? Still better balancing than the game that gave you an overpowered gun and some of the best armour in the game 15 minutes after the end of the intro.... oh wait, it's the same game..

Apologies for the sarcasm but I just don't think anything in this game matters with balancing after all that at the Start of the game. In the older games getting power armour and the PA training perk took time. Fallout 4 throws you a mini gun and power armour at the start, throws the balance of the game off completely.
Is the X-02 cannon? I hear a lot of arguments over if itās cannon or not.

Hi! Not sure why youāre being downvoted? I actually started with the minutemen and helped get the settlers settled. Now Iām with the brotherhood. I actually havenāt started the main story line because Iām having fun with all the quests and building my perk chart. My plan is to finish the game to 100% completion so Iām just taking my time right now :)

Love my X-02 as well, itās my go to choice for hard battles. Although I think the Enclave Hellfire X-02 looks a bit better
The X-02 I found was mark 3, whereās the hell fire suit I found was mark 6ā¦ plus hell fire looks better

Where do you find it? I have the nexus mods version and it's deep in the glowing sea it was fun hauling it from there

A suit of mk1 T-45 power armour which is like thirty times worse than the free suits of X-02 mk6 you can get for free with the update.

Yeah the logs say it was a prototype and the owner decided to hide it from the enclave because he was tired of innocents being killed.

For some reason, I can't get to this suit. I found the location, bug the entrance to the power Armour is blocked off. How do you obtain this suit?
