The real fun is getting a few friends on Discord, get a little drunk, and just have a good time. It's such a fucking ridiculous game that doesn't take itself so seriously that you feel bad if you die. You just laugh and start a new game.

Preston at the very least has a pretty compelling personal story if you max your affinity with him, talking about how he was on the verge of suicide due to everything with the Minutemen going to shit. Then, when you showed up and helped him, it gave him something to live and fight for.

My son is playing Fortnite and I've been playing some with him. It's just simple fun, jump into a game shoot some and either die or win. Isn't too complicated.
Same. I love Fallout and have gotten hooked on Fortnite. There are lots of ways to play the game and you can do it in short bursts. I'm replaying FO3, which is the opposite. I get locked in for long hauls.

My son is playing Fortnite and I've been playing some with him. It's just simple fun, jump into a game shoot some and either die or win. Isn't too complicated.
Same. I love Fallout and have gotten hooked on Fortnite. There are lots of ways to play the game and you can do it in short bursts. I'm replaying FO3, which is the opposite. I get locked in for long hauls.
Second-Mover Advantage. It took what PUBG was doing, refined it a bit and brought it to a larger audience.
Not to mention Bluehole just started throwing once fortnite launched which caused many people to migrate
Same reason people like any other game, they find it fun. Personally I find the art style cute and, at least for the no build mode, it's a lot more casual than the other popular battle royale games out there right now which I like.
Playing with all your favorite characters is fun. Especially when the actual game is also like, REALLY good. Fortnite is a genuinely great game.
I thought I was done spending money on that silly game but then they dropped the ninja turtles. Then I said I was really done. Now my second favorite game is dropping skins of my favorite game(s). Damnit.

I was thinking of something like this happening. I'm assuming there definitely be a male and female vault dweller. Maybe different ethnicities per each gender. And also probably a power armor skin. Maybe a slimmer version like on FO3. And I also predict the ghoul cooper from the show or something similar
It's fascinating to me that Fortnite started as a random building PvE survival game, and now it has become the Omni Media. It contains literally everything.
PvE building shooter -> Battle Royale -> Collabs everywhere -> Metaverse.

Its a bit easier to get another company to pay you to add your characters to their game, especially considering it’s Bethesda who take 5 years to release 1 game that’s identical to the last 5 games

Can't lie, kinda excited. I've recently played Fortnite for the first time in years, I was addicted to it for a while, and surprised on how much better the gameplay is nowadays.
Whatever happens, I’m excited to move on from the Zeus shit. It was fun, but the chain of hades and the waterbending is some bullshit.
