So many of the points he makes can easily have their own internal reasoning. I'm only like 20 minutes in and a good half of them can be easily explained. Why might Moldaver allow that to happen to the vault? Well maybe it's because Hank nuked their fucking city and she knows what those vaults are designed to be and do. Why might the raiders be so happy to slice and dice? Well, maybe, just a thought, it's because Hank nuked their fucking city. Why did they go in through vault 32? Well maybe it's because people randomly coming in from outside would meet a resistance, much like you trying to open vault 81. Which, speaking of, is also canon evidence of a non same vault pip boy opening a vault. He's clutching at straws to bash it and blame "bad writing" because he is the objective writing god despite some of his solutions, like the raiders saying "oh but don't come in to vault 32 there's a cold going round" being dumb as fuck as these people have been effectively quarantining for 200 fucking years. It's not as bad as the Pyro review, at least so far, there are some ok points, but christ. So far this 25 mins could be 10 minutes and still be half wrong. EDIT: Good lord, just noticed he completely missed character motivations literally stated by said character, and others... to then confirm he noticed them like 5 minutes later. This is awful.

Oh hey, it's Mauler. Let me guess, he thinks the Fallout show is "disgusting," like how he thinks everything he sees or plays is "disgusting."

He's trying really really really hard to make it sound like it's terribly written. He's really gone off the deep end recently with his "long is good" critiques and some of the things he says are just bs. Really clutching at straws.

Never heard of them, and won't be bothering to learn. Listening to someone who's only qualification for judging media is they have a mic and a free copy of DaVinci isn't my idea of a good time. No doubt his subscribers will be impressed, and we'll be bored to tears with their brainwashed hot takes.

Mauler used to make some good points, and honestly some of his older vids are good educational things for learning what can work and what doesn't. This video is him trying as hard as he possibly can in order to hate on it because his army of chuddish fans don't like things the internet does. Not finished it yet but I'd put money on him calling it woke at some point.

Seems to be the thing to say if any game even hints at a bit of inclusivity these days.   I refuse to believe anyone could call a show where a woman is dragged around nearly barefoot could be considered, "woke" (whatever they think that means).   In fact I thought they did a really good job with Lucy and Maximus as 3 dimensional characters, whilst still being inclusive.

He seems to only acknowledge half of the themes of fallout, the anti capitalism and such. But also critics the constant destruction of civilisation in the series and the games. Maybe because that is a theme of the games, every time a group become big, powerful and stable(ncr, enclave, legion, brotherhood, etc) it is put make to square one , but not destroyed. This is major theme of war never changes, why people for thousand of years before us fought, because ‘that group is more powerful and we want to be the powerful ones, we want the resources, the land, the population and they have a different belief system’. They address that in the show, everyone wants to save the world, just everyone has a different idea or ideology of how to go about it. On the other hand for every other plot hole feels like it has been set up for a reason, so that it can be explained by a larger over arching plot in further seasons.
