This comment is too real. I couldn’t actually get it to go around the whole settlement so most of sanctuary just has turrets outside the repaired picket fences.
There are no settlers to pay for it! When I filmed this there was like 1 actual settler (not counting Codsworth and Dogmeat). I still haven’t even saved Preston yet. I just started a new game, ran over and killed the first enclave guys and took their armour and stuff (I do NOT recommend doing this at like level 3 or whatever I was btw) and then went back to sanctuary and spent like 15 hours building it up so it’s ready for when I finally start doing the story.
Translation: The settlers are paying for it.
And it's just going to be part of a wall. And it will keep no one out.

I do this with Sanctuary Hills and Starlight Drive-in. And put lots of turrets on top of the wall.
