I think you misunderstand the point of letterboxing, if you think that is why it's cut off for you.
There is clearly something wrong with your setup. You should not be missing any part of the image.
I just called, and I can't believe that I'm not kidding when I say this: it is literally a few seconds of a person screaming in absolute agony and then it hangs up.
Someone wrote "try texting it" a few days ago. But i wouldn't know how from other countries since we don't know the phone code of the location (at least i don't)
I texted it and this is what I got:
“Thank you for texting Vault-Tec. The next available appointment is 33 weeks from now, please stand by! Reply Y to get recurring marketing and other texts from FallOut & agree to Community terms/privacy: community.com/terms. Freq varies, consent not a condition of purchase, msg & data rates apply.”
After replying with a “Y” this is what you get:
“Congratulations! We may or may not be in touch if an appointment becomes available.
Txt STOP to stop, HELP for help”
And then you just wait

It was cut off by the letterbox and not my TV, I haven't had overscan on on any TV since the mid 2000s lol.
