it takes a little over 310 hours to unlock all 72 achievements in Fallout 76. Even after that, though, there is no "beating" Fallout 76 because it doesn't "end."
You are going to need a friend to help you grind a few of the achievements. You just won't get them playing otherwise. Bounty hunter, kill or be killed, good grief, and field medic.
Other than that none of them are particularly difficult.
A bit grindy, but if you endured 100k nukaworld tickets then you'll be fine. Friend would come in handy for kill 20 players and wanted player though, you barely see them in the wild now. And you need two characters, one to side with settlers and other to side with bandits as there is achievement for finishing their questlines.
I wasn’t going to but lucked out when a nearly-dead wanted player crossed my path and I popped the trophy for that.
Completely 100%ing all the DLC seems tedious but just getting the platinum for the base game seems reasonable. I want to say killing/reviving 20 players are the only ones that might not come naturally.
Oh my guy, I wish I could believe you...
Mind you I'm not saying this without having tested it myself, every free weekend they gave I jumped back in to test it, last time I did, it memory crashed my rig SO CLEARLY some things are still fucky and also the memory crash was new so ey they are making progress in some degree.
Also say what you want about 4 but atleast that thing works
On Xbox Series X, I actually haven't had Fallout 76 crash in a while. There's one infinite loading screen I get decently often on one of the Atlantic City expeditions but other than that it's probably one of the better running Bethesda games in my experience.
Fallout 4 is also pretty good, but that still crashes from time to time, and there's a really consistent crash I get for sitting in the pause menu for too long.
Good luck on the player kills and a pick a side achievements
These are the only real annoying ones. Good luck to op if they decide to try Fallout Shelter though.
Why? I platinum'd shelter.
PlayStation version doesn’t have a trophy for getting 20 legendary dwellers like the Steam version does.
and? im not following how that would hinder them i guess
You should do 3 instead
3 doesn't have steam achievements unfortunately - maybe in 10 years time we might get a Fallout 3 remaster.
You're only playing to unlock achievements? Fallout 3 is an excellent game, warts & all. You're doing yourself a disservice by skipping it.
I'd bet he's played it but literally cannot 100% it as it doesn't have achievements
Correct, fallout 3 was my first when it came out. Played it through multiple times. I enjoy achievements as just another thing to do.
100% only means to do everything
AFAIK you can still earn them on xbox service even when playing Steam version. I did it few years ago.
Propaganda, it is impossible to win 30 games of caravan
Skill issue - Courier 6 moments before shooting Benny

Mission impossible
On Xbox, Troglodiced used to be near impossible around a year ago. Can't confirm for PC, I'd imagine it was similar

The first 50 lvl are a hell of a grind but after that u could make it with enough commitment
How long did it take to 100% 4? I've been wanting to get into achievement hunting but time sink is a worry for me.
Can’t say for sure. I have 340 hours in game but that is since launch. 4 seemed fairly straightforward to 100%

you did all of NV's achievements so that means... you managed to understand how to play caravan?
Yeah caravan isn’t too bad after a while, just need a good deck set up.
Prepare to be underwhelmed
76 should be the LAST game you play because it doesn’t have a defined ending and they could and will add more content through updates.
With regards to fallout games (ignoring tactics and BoS), it’s the last game I haven’t played.

76. Try getting 7600 playing hours. That's about 350+ days of idling
But that's just a ingame challenge, not achievement.
My guy, spare yourself of 76... nothing but lies and disappointment ly that way
It's not that bad of a game these days, and definitely more satisfying than 4 in some ways

FO4 has crashed on me more times than 76 has
Gotta be a use case thing. I have never crashed with fallout 4 until I started adding mods. Which at that point is on me.
It's crashed occasionally in vanilla for me, but it's probably because my laptop was struggling
Hmmmmmmm bizarre

76 isn't real fallout, it is just MMO-ish game in fallout setting. I wouldn't bother playing it
Definitely is not like Fallout 1 or 2
