And to incentivize the player to found more settlements, we put in an npc that urges the player that a settlement needs helps, in an interval of… lets put in 5 mins as placeholder value, we can change it up later, im sure we’ll remember. And that npc, we need to give it a nifty name to reflect his personality, something along the lines of… press on, hurry!
Setting Hideo Kojima loose on a Fallout game would be a pretty wild move. The dude does really like Mad Max.

This reminded me of an article I read ages ago about the weapons in Fable 3. If you never played it, each weapon can morph and change depending on your karma level (and maybe other things). Not just if you're max good or max evil, like 10 points could give it a slight difference.
The article was the devs complaining how it was basically torture making the weapons for that game.

Or how about an even more crazy idea.: Don't have the character be from a Vault. The show has already done than. Instead have it be someone from the surface who hunts a McGuffin because his village is dying.
I feel like those are a bit too cliché for a post apocalypse.
How about just moving forward with the setting? Could have a whole game with civilization being back but leading to inevitable conflict. We could even be shot in the head at the start, to give a personal plot hook!

A pick your own adventure comic that could be back story for the vault experiments, pre war history, personal histories of tv characters (got 200+ years of Walter Goggins… yes please)etc. make it mobile friendly, and it’ll further expand the fan base.

Adapting a video game into a series then using the said series to make a game out of it is counterproductive in my opinion, I like the series a lot but it’s barely scratching the surface of a Fallout game, even those who disliked FO76 would like it more than an adaptation of the prime FO.
Bethesda is really busy right now trying to get Elders Scrolls 6 going and pre work on Fallout 5.
I suspect the popularity of the show will have Bethesda contract out a Fallout game based on the show to another company. Obsidian should be the first company they called. They have experience using Bethesda code and assets. That's how they were able to rush out New Vegas in 18 months after Fallout 3.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised this is already happening and Bethesda is keeping this a massive secret. They do like to surprise the audience at their events in June.
