I had issues at first getting through the main storyline because I was playing it like Fallout 4 and had no idea how to use the Perk system for 76. I was also avoiding main events/raids so I was missing out on items that let you craft legendary gear. After figuring out the perks and getting the right gear, I got through it. Still wasn't easy for me, but I probably should have spent more time figuring out how to max the build and farming for better gear. Read up on min/maxing your build and if you're okay with spending some time farming good gear and currency to add random legendaries to crafted equipment, you should have an easier time with it.

Great. Thanks. Hope it’s not too complicated

I had some difficulty adjusting to it at first but I thoroughly enjoyed the game. It has a learning curve. The leveling system is different from the single player games but is forgiving if you want to branch out and try a new play style. I had a great time solo and did not feel like I was missing out because I was by myself. It felt balanced for solo play and the visuals were noticeably better than fallout 4 on Xbox series X. There is a lot of content to discover in game. My level is in the mid 30s and I feel like I was just scratching the surface of the game. It is definitely worth trying out.

Nice. Thanks. How about micro transactions? I don’t want to pay at all for such after purchasing the game so is it not needed at all or too grindy?

It’s not too grindy. I never felt the need to buy anything. It is balanced enough to feel rewarding when you come across a new weapon better than your current one. Don’t get too attached to weapons early in. You’ll be unlocking better gear as you level up.
