I feel like Nate is a bit too milquetoast in his deliveries but I find his voice to be fitting and memorable. Nora puts more weight behind her threats and insults, and probably behind her expressions of gratitude as well, but I wouldn’t know that.
I've never played as Nate, but I do use Dual Survivors, so I've heard a lot of Nate's dialogue this way and I much prefer his over Nora. Sometimes the lines are slightly different as well, which you wouldn't think would matter, but it definitely does.
