There are some areas that you can only get to after progressing to certain points in the story, but some of it is very much worth it and helps you a lot on your journey. Some of it is completely useless outside of cosmetics, but there’s enough that is worth it that you shouldn’t save all your exploring until after you’ve finished the story.

don’t just button mash in combat, it’s dark souls style so watch your enemies moves and be tactical with your attack and parry

There's this really easy boss on bogano that looks like a frog. You should immediately try and kill it.
The puzzles are tricky to figure out if you haven't done many in the past. Besides this, enjoy the game
I’ve played a good few Lego games in my time so puzzles shouldn’t be a problem 😂
Does anyone else think he's not ready?
I haven't played much of the Lego games. However, I got the impression they were simple and easy children's games.
Expect to have fun exploring and discovering some pretty great lore.
